Household Mold as one possible cause of parkinsonism
I saw this awhile ago, but I'm looking at it again today. In short, there is evidence that a chemical released by molds can damage dopamine nerve cells LINK: https://www.pnas.org/content/110/48/19561 AUTHORS: Arati A. Inamdar et al. In his blog of 9 February "BAC for the future", Simon of Science of Parkinson's remembers that Levodopa is converted into Dopamine by an enzyme called Decarboxylase DOPA. He also says that outside the brain there is a lot of decarboxylase dopa in other organs of the body, so there is a risk that Levodopa

WP Thyroid
I’ve recetly invested in
tirosint
to help with side effects to fillers. However the price is something I won’t be able to keep up with, I’ve only recently heard of WP thyroid, which also has a lot less fillers! If anyone could let me know their experiences, I’d be incredibly grateful! Thank you.

side effects from NDT verses synthetic levothyroxin
Strange but I did not have this issue on
Tirosint
. My dose in only 1 grain from 100mcg of
Tirosint
. Also question if one grain of NDT is equal to 100mcg of
Tirosint
. My pharmacist said they are equal..

Help with T4 & T3 dosages
Before I went back on Levoxyl, I was on a trial of 150mcg of
Tirosint
and 15 of t3 but I felt the T4 was not enough so I switched back over to Levoxy atl 200mcg. Should I have just added more t3 instead. I am kind of messed up and need some guidance.

Graves Disease Treatment/Recovery
But now I am on
Tirosint
and thankfully it has stopped. Now I finally feel back to my old self. I can actually exercise again and sleep all the way through the night. Most importantly, the minute I turned hypo all my anxiety just went away. I am in graduate school and back to living my life again!

Switching to NDT
Ok, next question! Due to the supply/price issue with T3, my friend and I are contemplating a switch to NDT. I used it briefly years ago but switched early on, as my dog was on T3. We ran out at the same time and I couldn't afford both! But I digress... what's hot in NDT these days and good suppliers
