Advice on increase
I am on

Heart racing and Mucuna
Good morning all! I was looking up reasons as to why my heart races after I take even an eighth of a teaspoon of l-dopa powder which is actually Mucuna. I usually take 3 1/8 of a teaspoon of L tyrosine powder because a lot of the times the Mucuna has a tendency to make me nauseous or vomit. I came across

combination of 100 mcg and 125 mcg
I am taking 125mcg
tirosint
and my TSH IS 0.1 BUT MY T4 IS 2.4( VERY HIGH)- My doctor decided to put me on 100 mcg, but I am concerned because it will bring my TSH super high. I read from your posts that you combine the two doses. Anyone that had a success story? how do you take it.

Bad reaction to levo--what now?
I have a relative who is an MD and is knowledgeable about all this to some extent and is willing to get me samples of Nature Throid or
Tirosint
to try. I'm now back to feeling like my old hypo self, which is not pleasant either, but vastly preferable to that experience on levo.

Lab results worse and help needed to get off the Seesaw!
The “Seesaw” is that every time I try something new, like splitting doses, or switching from
Tirosint
to generic brand, then one third of one brand and 2 of the other and so on, I always feel good the first day, sometimes even the 2nd. And then, Bam goes the seesaw again with me at the bottom!

Results : Organic Acid Test (OAT) from Great Plains Laboratory.
I wanted to share the details of the results for my mother, based on Urine test . Hopefully, this will help a few on this forum. I am only indicating the High/Low items in the report. The remaining ( of the total of 77 items) were within the Ref. Range. See attached sample report from their website

Moffitt researchers develop tool to better predict treatment course for lung cancer.

Evaluating Test Results Using Tirosint
I researched and requested a change to
Tirosint
or
Tirosint
-Sol. Placed on
Tirosint
-Sol 100 mcgs and did much better. TSH dropped to .02 and Endo requested that I skip a dosage once a week. She calculated the dosage to be .85 mcgs by skipping once a week.

Hypo with POF, severe hair loss and scalp pain
It’s been 9 months now since I’ve been off cytomel, I am only on a quarter grain of Nature-throid and I take 5 of the 13 mcg of
Tirosint
a day. It’s been 3 months and my hair continues to fall, none of it is growing back nor are my eyelashes.

Tyrosine
Has anyone taken tyrosine and had any positive outcomes? I already take magnesium Iron and B12. I have recently added Omega 3 but when looking into Pramipexole and dopamine I came across Tyrosine. It seems you can literally buy a supplement for anything these days but wondering if its worth looking

Who is up for solving this thyroid/perimenopausal puzzle?! I desperately need some help! 🙏🏻
I tried to take
Tirosint
and on the first day it didn’t feel good at all. Then we tried for 3 weeks Euthyrox T4 and initially i started on on 88 mcg pill. On the 5th day I felt weird with a bad reaction- headache, and brain fog.

99% ldopa products are not really 'mucuna'
Firstly, this isn't a negative post about ldopa supplements or mucuna. In fact, I have several containers of both. There's a number of articles and studies online that are quite positive about mucuna as a prescription levodopa alternative. Here's one that was posted in a recent thread: https://healthunlocked.com
