Hi. I have been struggling with chronic fatigue and joint pain for almost 12 months. I have had Thyroid tested and all normal according to GP. I'm in surgical menopause and taking Testosterone, Oestrogen and Progesterone and all my levels are good for those so I'm wondering if it could be thyroid related

Latest results.
Hi all. I wonder if you could share your thoughts on my latest results. My levothyroxine has been increased from 50 to 75mg. I have had a very sore mouth and tongue for over 12 months and was hoping if my B12 levels increased and my levothyroxine was working well, it would go. It hasn’t. My B12

I haven't been able to help a friend of mine. Whom I met on this forum. I sound like a witch but I'm not I'm just telling it like it is if you are not out of range for T4 and TSH they will not treat you for T3. Am I correct or not I just didn't want her waiting around thinking she's going to get what

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
I just recently read some interesting studies that suggest HRT could help us PD people with our symptoms? I know for some HRT is controversial. And maybe I am at the point of desperation, but should I just be asking my GP for an HRT patch? Have any of you had any experience with HRT. Is one delivery

Hi, I’m new to the forum and blood tests in general so hopefully I will give relevant info. I’m 54 and have had fatigue for the past 6 months. I’ve always been fairly low energy but this is a different level. I am 10 years post menopause so it’s not that, and I’ve been on HRT a long time. My blood

just wanted to see if everything is normal….
good morning, or afternoon…. I’ve only been dealing with hypothyroidism a short time, most just feeling exhausted, at the beginning had many other symptoms and of course weight is an issue. I am attaching two screenshots. One is my last TSH results, as those are the only tests my GP would do. Yesterday

Hello all I have posted before and nothing has changed much. Rheumatoid, Peri-Menopause, HRT
I am 54 and have had RA for 34 years. I am at the end stage of perimenopause, and close to transitioning to Menopause. The RA feels worse. My joints are so achy even my muscles hurt at times. Anyone suggestions from experienced ladies. Does HRT help? My current medication list is Humira 40 by weekly

Cost of a full thyroid panel v TSH alone
We often hear of patients being refused a full thyroid panel due to cost. Can anyone tell me the cost differential to the NHS as I suspect it may be minimal.

Hi, I have been stable on 150mcg T4 + 12.5mcg T3 for about 10 weeks (gradually dropped the levo and added the T3), I did this test the other week and was surprised to see such low serum T3. - I did the test fasted at 9.20am - The 12.5mcg T3 was taken the previous night at 9.20pm (12 hours before
