TSH 3.88
Hi My recent blood test result showed my TSH is 3.88 and the receptionist said the doctor had left a note saying “tell patient normal” (which is what they always say). My question is…is it normal? I had a partial thyroidectomy in 2001 and have been on thyroxine ever since. Lately I’ve been struggling

Hello beautiful people, My latest TSH is 0.66 and had to lower thyroxine just a bit (from 100/88 to just 88) as was getting some hyper symptoms and felt way better with a lower dose, finally have energy and drive again! My T4 is healthy range, 60% through. However, my T3 dropped to just 10% of the range

human growth hormone (HGH) for better egg quality in UK.
hi all, my consultant has said no to hgh (human growth hormone) via the nurses - so requesting more explanation. I know of one of the very popular london clinics prescribing it but curious on if other people have asked and being successful in getting HGH prescribed Thanks so much ❤️

tsh or t4 to determine over medication
It’s controversial in the United States between using tsh or t4 to detect over medication. Which is the best test to conclude over medication tsh or t4? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, Thanks for everyone’s help with my questions already. I am in a thyroid group on Facebook and they have told me that if you are on levothyroxine medication for an under active thyroid then you should aim for your tsh to be as close to zero as possible, because the levothyroxine is meant to

Hello from New Zealand
My adult son was diagnosed with hypothyroidism from a routine test after a slight head injury during Covid lockdown. I have not been able to lose weight and so asked my GP for thyroid function test - and sure enough!! So was started on Eltroxin. Lately my usually reasonably well controlled BP went haywire

Experiences of using HRT after oophorectomy+ hysterectomy
Hello, Would anyone mind sharing their experiences of using HRT after oophorectomy+ hysterectomy? I'm wondering whether to persevere with trying to find something better, or just give up entirely. Thanks 🙂 (I had my op years ago. Took over 2 years to get past the meno symptoms (no HRT). Thought

NHS IVF refused due to low AMH
Hi, we have been refused for IVF on NHS for my low AMH which come back at 1.25pmol/L (0.18ng/ml) and had to be a minimum of 5.4pmol/L. She also mentioned that my iron levels were high and didn’t ask if this could cause low AMH due to the upset. Do you think these could be related? She said the chance
