Endocrinologist won't medicate me?
My results are:TSH 2.3 (0.3-5.0) down from 5.32 T3 4.2 (3.5-5.8) down from 5.6 T4 11.2 (7.00-20.0) up from 8.6 Could this be from taking a month of supplements (recommended here, so thank you) & I'm now doing ok because of that? I'm still symptomatic (less so) I don't know?? Ultrasound & blood

Help new to this.
Really struggling. Started feeling unwell post Covid November 2023. Fatigued to the point of feeling like wading through treacle. Weight gain. Severe pain in shoulder and right heel to the point can’t walk some days. Ectopic heart beats that left me dizzy and faint. Constipation. And strange feeling

Back to life thanks to this forum! GP Next steps though - further levo increase?
You've been so helpful. Your collective knowledge has led to a diagnosis of (ords) hashimotos, my levo being upped to 75mg and I'm pain free for the first time in 5 YEARS! Thank you. I feel alive again. I armed myself with printed NICE guidelines and facts/ research and GP didn't resist this time and

Hi ladies. this might be a long one sorry. I don’t even know why I’m posting this but can’t talk to the ”outside world”. My best friend lives aboard and I haven’t made any Mum friends since having Francesca. Those who don’t know me - I had an horrific 7 years struggle with involved 3 surgeries

Test results and what to ask my GP
I had routine bloods done last week mainly because of high cholesterol. My results showed not just high cholesterol, but also: Serum TSH 8.7 Serum free T4 12.8 So there's a note about me being subclinical hypothyroid and another about statins. So I'm guessing the GP is just going to want to put me

Hi, I have just had the results of my blood test and they are all within the normal range which is obviously great news but not so great as to knowing why I’m feeling so tired, aching, gut issues and cramping, brain fog. Could any of you lovely people just take a look and see why I maybe feeling like

ft3 and t3 the same thing?
hi is Ft3 the same thing as T3? I think here in Scotland we only measure Tsh and t4, t3 (I think) at a push if requested but hard to get at GP. In England is it Ft3 I’ve seen on posts. That’s why I’m asking if they’re the same measurement. I’d like to know how well I’m converting and if not if I can

Speaking to GP tomorrow - which symptoms should I emphasise
I think I am undermedicated with results: Serum TSH level 2.41 mIU/L [0.27 - 4.2] Serum free T4 level 16.7 pmol/L [12.0 - 22.0] Especially as I forgot and took my 50 levothyroxine an hour before the test (numpty) They are against me being on levothyroxine as I can't have any symptoms at that TSH

High FSH & LH but normal oestrogen - aged 37 still having periods
Has any one else had a high FSH and LH blood result? Oestrogen normal. I’m 37 years old, I have very severe stage 4 Endo and adeno with a lot of bowel involvement, multiple surgeries and excisions but disease continues to return within months. Disease causes infertility so I’ve never had children.

Failed egg retrieval cycle
hello everyone, I recently had a failed cycle where my embryo did not make it to blastocyst on day 5. I was desperate for this cycle to be successful. I did everything I could, took ubiquinol, NAC, R-lipoic acid this time. I didn’t take any meds other than multivitamins in my first two cycles and

need guidance
Hello all, I'm new here. I was researching and came across this group. I'm asking for advice actually for my daughter. Here is the story. My daughter as a child was slightly overweight at age of puberty. When she was about 20, we went to a dr who ordered a thyroid US. Results multi nodules. No big concern

Overmedicated for Graves
Good morning , Please if you can could you help advise me how to ease some of my symptoms .I will be very grateful . On my last blood test my TSH increased from 0.32 to 3.47 and it is assumed by the Endo that I’m over medicated. I was for 10 weeks on 10 mg of Carbimazole and the dose was reduced from

T3 (Cytomel): How would you fit it in these results? Or would you? And all the mistakes I have made on this journey
Latest results (overjoyed to be finally here) - TSH .74 (.32 to 4) T4 14 (9 to 19) T3 4.2 (2.6 to 5.8) I am on 262.5 mcg levothyroxine (Note: In 50s so 50×5 & 1/4 of a 50) I feel what I would deem pleasantly okay. Always have felt the best on NDT, but I needed so much I could no longer afford it. And

Any success with fresh IVF embryo transfer aged 44yrs
Hi to all, I’ve been on this rollercoaster now for many years and have read all your individual circumstances but have never posted. I have been through 7 brutal rounds of IVF as an international satellite patient which is another level of hardship. I had my retrieval done a few days ago and no surprise
