3 months after partial thyroidectomy
I’m now 3 months post partial
thyroidectomy
and could do with some advice again! I feel I've come to a complete standstill in my recovery. Still have a very stiff and sore neck (especially the strap muscles) and my voice has lost all of its top range 😢.

Post total Thyroidectomy
Hi, needing advice, I'm on Levothyroxine post surgery which was end September 2018, started on 125mg, December increased to 150mg, had bloods yesterday, phone call today have to increase to 200mg as the doctor says my tsh is high. Will being on 200mg increase my weight even more? What does this mean?

Total thyroidectomy
Hello I’m about to have a total
thyroidectomy
as I’ve had Graves’ disease for the past 20 years. I’m thinking about when I come out of hospital and that I’d like to try the pig thyroid treatment. Please can anyone tell me their experiences as there seems to be be quite a few different types.

Graves’ disease vaccine trial
I have just had a
thyroidectomy
a few days ago and so far so good. I’m now home and just received news that they are trialing a vaccine for Graves. I had no idea this was happening. Too late for me but maybe hope for others.

Stressful project at work straight after Total Thyroidectomy and I'm suffering symptoms
I had a Total
Thyroidectomy
3 weeks ago and got a sick note from the hospital for 2 weeks. I went back to work last week and I think I feel ill because of it. I have a pretty stressful job and I asked for help whilst I was off as this particular project I've been put on has a really tight deadline.

Is my dose too high or is this normal?
I had a Total
Thyroidectomy
2 weeks ago and I have been feeling quite well apart from being tired. I am on 125mcg of Levothyroxine and I have gone back to work today. I don't know if this is a coincidence or not but I have been suffering heart palpitations all morning.

Partial Thyroidectomy
Hi all I had a large nodule removed and half my thyroid on left side around 6 weeks ago. The test came back clear.. But I'm exhausted all the time. My neck is still a little sore. And I'm having terrible pain in the tight side of my neck and shoulder, so bad sometimes I can't lift my arm. I also feel

Indeterminate
As my concern at this time is that I am having a
thyroidectomy
in a weeks time , due to a rapid increase and number in nodules that are causing pain . Unknown if there is a malignancy .

Thyroidectomy done privately
Hi all My NHS endocrinologist has suggested I have a
thyroidectomy
. I’m not 100% sure on the amount of experience of the surgeon he is referring me to. Would I be better having the operation done privately and choosing my surgeon? Can anyone advise me whether going private is a good or bad idea.

No thyroid
I had a
thyroidectomy
about 8 years ago. I have never been the same. It was removed because of nodules that were not cancerous. I rarely see a discussion about those who have no thyroid. I was not doing good before the surgery, and feeling worse now.

T3
In 2015 I had a total
thyroidectomy
, I have type 2 diabetes And fybromyalgia.i have not felt totally well since the operation and as I read on your forum that people who have no thyroid can have difficulty in converting t4 to t3,and as I feel very fatigued, I thought I would try taking 12 .5 mcg t3
