Advice please
I had a partial
thyroidectomy
(left removed) in April 2023. I am on 50mg levothyroxine but I am still not feeling right. I am having trouble regulating my temperature, my hair has tinned a lot. I am tired, ache, have put on weight and feel miserable.

Ideas please
I had a total
thyroidectomy
20 years ago for a massive goitre. I had been taking levothyroxine for 20 years prior to the surgery. The idea being that giving me the meds would stop the goitre growing but it didn't work.

20 years ago. Been on 75mg thyroxine for some time. Had some blood results for cholesterol and noticed that my tsh has increased to 2.75 .. normally is suppressed at 0.003 approx. Trying to get bloods done for T4 etc but would be grateful for any thoughts . Thank you.

Free T4 high, what to do? Also IR
(mIU/L) (ref. value 0.27 - 4.2) Free T3 = 3.80 (pmol/L) or 2.47 (ng/dl) (ref. value 3.13 - 6.76 OR 2.04 - 4.40) Also rather worrying: HA1c = 6.0 (pointing toward diabetes 2 and insuline resistance) I weigh 62 kilos for 1m70 almost never eat sugar (also not the hidden types) Had a total

I had a total
thyroidectomy
20 years ago due to thyroid cancer, so my tsh levels are kept very low, usually 0.03 or sometimes even lower. As I have high cholesterol recently I was put on atorvastatin. Bloods were checked today and tsh has gone up to 2.75 though still in range.

thyroid issues and a fibs???
I have been hypothyroid most of my life and have to take synthroid, due to a partial
thyroidectomy
in my twenties. I am now 69 and have recently developed a fibs. I also might have apnea; am getting a sleep study done soon...... Are either of these conditions related to a fibs??

13 months post thyroidectomy fatigue
I can't seem to find the right dose. Hair loss, dry skin, puffy face, sirens in ears!, severe fatigue.
I was on 75 for 4 days, 88 three days. TSH was 1.16. Up from .69. I felt better and then BAM after 8 weeks terrible body spasms, and more. TSH was 6.01! Doctors: back to 88 for 6 days and 75

A lot to learn!
No cancer showed in the biopsy but they couldn’t be sure what it was and because of the size of the cyst I decided to opt for a total
thyroidectomy
. It was done really quickly, June 13th, and I went straight onto 125mcg levothyroxine. I haven’t had results for the nodule yet.

Post Thyroidectomy and a confused GP
I’m post RAI (2006) post
thyroidectomy
(March 2024) on 125 micrograms Levo daily. Pre
thyroidectomy
I was unmedicated as my tsh was nearly 0 and my T4 low ( my Endo did not know what I should take ) as my thyroid had regrown after RAI.

thy3f thyroid nodules on either side - doctors recommend total thyroidectomy
Has anyone elected watch and wait tactic instead of
thyroidectomy
? I read absolutely awful stories that people can’t balance their hormones after
thyroidectomy
.., and can’t be their usual self.
