Silly question
Know you're not supposed to have alcohol with
theophylline
but surely two wee bottles can't have caused it? Rarely have a drink but it was so warm last night and for once, I didn't have an early school run to do. I did have glass of water before going to bed. Any thoughts?

Seek cough treatment if you experience chronic cough
Primarily, there are three types of bronchodilators available that include beta-agonists, anticholinergic and
theophylline
. - Asthma nebulizers are prescribed when a patient is having trouble using an inhaler.

Brand new to this, well, sort of - and need help to learn
I was well versed with becotide, ventolin, peak flow meters,
theophylline
, collapsed lobe in the lung (yes, that happened) and so on. Yet, as a carer of myself I have a lot to learn.

Uncontrolled Asthma
I have been referred 4 times to the lung function clinic at my hospital and they prescribed
theophylline
Montelukast 10mg and Fostair 100/6. I have had chest xrays and spirometer tests with allergy and sputum tests and are all coming back with normal results.

Asthma/Bronchitus
In addition to above I sometimes need to take VENTOLIN INHALER & Additional dose of
Theophylline
. Inspite of all the above I normally feel discomfort in breathing in the second half of the day. Any patient or a doctor reading my above question may suggest or advise please.

Asthma getting me down.
I've tried xolair,
theophylline
, montelukast all the treatments and they make very little difference. I'm tired of physio and nebulisers. I do it and I still get sick. It's draining. I also have mental health problems and I find it difficult to care for myself.

Introduction
Symbicort,
Theophylline
tablets, Spiriva and Mucodyne. I'm pleased to say that I finished with both the nebuliser and oxygen 2 weeks ago, and (touch wood) seem to be doing o.k. without them. My breathing is a lot better, think I'm coughing less and more easily.

Another viral exacerbation
I've also had 28 days
Theophylline
during November 2012 when I was ill for most of the month! Any suggestions as to what I can try, I'm under the care of my GP/Asthma nurse. Am thinking of specialist referral.

CF Testing Clear!!
I have had a blood test recently for
Theophylline
levels, as I take Phyllocontin Continus, 1 tab twice a day, but the GP called and said it is still well below the guidelines. My result was 7, and should be between 10-17.
