Increased Levo about 3 weeks ago from 75 to 100. TSH seems to have dropped fast, is this usual ? I’ve been unwell with a virus, would that affect it? I can’t say the rapid change in TSH is reflected in feeling any better.

Its too soon to test …..but yes it’s not surprising

You’re still very hypo

Retest 6-8 weeks after any dose change or brand change in levothyroxine

Which brand of levothyroxine are you currently taking

Is this different from previously

Essential to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 regularly too

When were these last tested

What vitamin supplements are you taking

Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

Thanks SD.

Yes, test protocol was observed. I was on 75 Levo which I believe is Teva, and now on 100, still Teva.

Yes TSH does drop fast with a dose increase. Yours is still high though as SD said you tested too soon. It's a slow process and you may not feel much difference for a while. A good way of thinking about it is that your body has been put into a deep sleep by the hypothyroidism. It takes a long time for it to be fully woken and active again. This has to be done slowly as too much levothyroxine too soon and your will get symptoms of feeling over cooked. This is why it takes so long...... But you are on the road now. I found it very frustrating but there are no shortcuts. Following the protocol of testing every 6-8 weeks before increasing, ensuring the Co factors are all optimal is the quickest way. In the thyroid world it's the tortoise that wins not the hare. Lol....

Well, you wouldn't because TSH doesn't make you feel anything. It's T3 that causes symptoms when it's too high or too low, and yours is still incredibly low.
