Chemotherapy, Blood Transfusion etc.
It has been keeping his
Testosterone
level down but not PSA. He started Zytiga in spring but it failed after a couple of months. So he started Chemotherapy in July.

Prolactin levels high - I'm freaked out
FYI my bloods look like this:
Testosterone
: 2 Androgen levels: 8.7 FSH: 6.8 LH: 21 They pretty much confirmed what I already knew, apart from I also got a high Prolactin reading back which I've never had before, or have never been tested for before.

Is it my gallbladder?
I’ve also had other symptoms that come on suddenly such as coldness, blood pressure regulation issues, low grade fever, low
testosterone
issues etc. I’ve also had urinary issues where i retain water while upright but will urinate off extra water when lying down. Weird I know.

Cycle estrogen and casodex/dutasteride
I have been on estrogen patches to lower
testosterone
. Very effective. Undetectable T and PSAs are 0. No depression. But zero libido, loss of strength, and lower RBC (I think that 0 T is going to cause those regardless of how you get there). So I am going on a combo of casodex and dutasteride.

Great news to share!
So, here is the plan going forward (until his PSA starts to rise on 2 consecutive blood tests and/or metastases show up on one or both scans in the future): •Bloodwork/PSA checked every 3 months •Continuation of Lupron (Androgen Deprivation Therapy so he has zero
testosterone
) with shots every 3 months

What to do now?
Testosterone
was 232 ng/dL on 6/12/19. Oncologist has asked me to consider Xtandi. Concerned about side effects. Has anyone tried Xtandi? What is best test(s) for Metastasis? Would appreciate any ideas on what to do.

Can you feel worse on a lower tsh level?
Also wondering if this is related to Lower hgh or lower
testosterone
since I am a guy. Since gym progress has felt like it’s slowed down almost. (To many variables and it’s just making me over think)

MEMORY LOSS, WAS IT CAUSED BY THE ESTROGEN PATCHES
Testosterone
remained below 20. In March 2019, I stopped using estrogen as the primary ADT and had a Lupron injection that was repeated in June, I continue to use Avodart and Metformin. My question here today for the members of this great Forum relates to loss of memory.

Aromatase & CRPC cells
Aromatase [CYP19A1] is the enzyme that converts
testosterone
[T] to estradiol [E2]. It is not found in healthy epithelial cells. CD44+ cells are PCa stem cells.

MIRCERA/ANACEP injections - EPO therapy ( artificial hormone therapy to stimulate for red blood cells in CKD anemia) side effects?!
I know the injections stimulate the bone marrow to make EPO proteins - a hormone for red blood cell production; I'm suspecting they're the culprit that's messing up all my other hormones (estrogen,
testosterone
, progesterone etc.) causing the imbalances!

ODD Question regarding Testosterone Levels BEFORE ADT
Only recently has he gotten his first baseline
Testosterone
counts. Depending upon what chart you look at he is either lower or low normal at 189. I find this to be curious in that I’ve often heard that
Testosterone
feeds Pca. Why would his PSA rise if his numbers are low?

Gfr goes up and down
All of the time my blood and urine showed nothing abnormal, everything else was fine except for my
testosterone
levels which have always been low. My doctor found out that I do have multiple kidney stones ( about 6 or 7 ) and one is quite large at 12mm.

0.02 on Zytiga but going to start chemo. Thoughts?
After a year on Lupron, Zytiga n Prednisone, I am almost free of side effects and have a 0.02 PSA and 16
testosterone
! I know that one day both will start rising. I decided to get a second opinion from the Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.

Leg Muscles Aches after ADT?
I suspected some sciatica, perhaps electrolyte imbalance, perhaps a circulation problem, perhaps just tight muscles from over-doing exercise now that I am regaining
testosterone
. The ilitibiol bands and glutes where definitely tight so I have been working on those. All of the above?
