Cortisol results/DHEA, useful thoughts on action for adrenals?
DHEA levels typically decline with age and supplementation with DHEA may increase
testosterone
and/or estradiol levels.

Rapidly rising PSA and new bone met(s).
Testosterone
seems high ( albeit only by a little) . why could that be despite adt and second gen. 2. Looks like castrate resistance has set in ? 3. Where do we go from here?

Advice on ACTH and thyroid results please
Results as follows: TSH 0.93 (0.27-4.2) FT4 12 (12-22) ACTH 19.8 (7.2-63.3) Aldosterone 159 (70-570) No result for
testosterone
except a comment that it was under-range I'm currently taking an ultra low dose of hrt as anything higher pushes me into what I believe is a hypothyroid state.

I have used
testosterone
for the latter 17 years, but the picture is complex. I have been spending a lot of time reconstructing the first few years and digging out ancient PubMed studies. Hence the references to 16 years ago, etc.]

Post surgery symptoms are bad again
I also am being treated for low
testosterone
by three monthly injections, and wonder if the fact this has raised my haematocrit and haemoglobin, might be playing a part? As I am now polycythemic.

Anyone on Nubeqa ? on triplicate therapy, Firmagon, Zytiga & Prednisone Started Docetaxel Chemotherapy no mention of Nubeqa DX 07/2022

Cirrhosis/Sprionolactone/testosterone
I’ve not done a huge amount of research but it really makes me wonder if Spiro almost strips you of
testosterone
in some way (feel free to pull a face if you think I’m talking nonsense) and whether it does take quite some time for your hormones to get back to normal?

next step more Lupron?
My last PSA was 0, and
testosterone
was 7. Side effects include extreme fatigue and sciatica pain. I am scheduled to see my urologist again in December to receive a second Lupron injection. I would like to see if the radiation was effective and take a break from the medication.

DHEA or PREGNENOLONE?
However, now my
testosterone
is raised to 2.7 (<1.2). The lovely SlowDragon, sent me material that suggested DHEA can raise
testosterone
, and, as a woman, that’s probably not good? So my question is, would Pregnenolone be a better choice than DHEA?

Can DIM Really Play It Both Ways?
If this is so, seemingly DIM would be managing both "disruptive enzymes" and their processes that could lead
testosterone
down pathways toward the "bad hormonal actors" DHT and estrogen/estradiol. Is DIM so "brilliant" that it can really "play it both ways?"

DHEA Stopped my periods
I gained some advice from some lovely people about checking DHEA and my
testosterone
levels. Both came back in the high normal range for my age. I took a small dose of DHEA (10mg) for a couple of weeks but really struggled with it, so stopped taking the DHEA.

Testosterone - How low can it go?
Had
testosterone
checked one week after my last chemo and was <2.5 ng/dL. I know abiraterone blocks
testosterone
from the adrenals, but how much lower could I be if I was taking it? Since I'm so low, would I be getting much advantage if I could take it?

Update on Daddy-O
Additionally, his
testosterone
isn't increasing, so that was encouraging. So, the plan is to retest in December and if we're still seeing an upward movement to move forward with the PSMA scan and Pluvicto. Dad has a brain MRI in November, so we'll have a better sense of his brain cancer status.

Мой опыт и мои мысли о прохождении радиолигандной терапии с использованием лиганда PSMA-617, содержащего изотопы 177Lu и 225Ac. Часть 2.
Also, I was advised to continue ADT in order to keep my
Testosterone
at castration values. Let me remind you that, by that time, I had not taken any antiandrogens. Dr.

fast running pace but i can walk and cycle for hours (zone 1 low HR) and have very low cortisol and can sleep for 6 hours plus rather than 3-4 hours for months when I had very high cortisol (re point 6 above) i have learnt so much in the past 6 months, for me cortisol is by far the biggest enemy (
