Orgovyx w/o side effects?
But I have a low
testosterone
level before starting the drug ... 150 ng/dl. Could this be the reason as I have had no libido for many years.

Started MRI Guided SBRT at MSK
With Orgovyx, I'm hoping to have a faster recovery of
testosterone
when I stop than I would otherwise experience with Lupron and other ADT meds. I have been consistently working out with weights with the help of a trainer to offset loss of muscle mass, weight gain and fatigue.

Stable PSA, deep fall testosterone lab results.
PSA un changed at 1.06 for the last 4 months,
testosterone
down from 100 last month to 17 yesterday. Kindly asking, what will be the point of starting on Xtandi and get exposed to its nasty side effects? I've asked the Oncologist to wait until the numbers drastically change, he is in agreement.

Irrational emotional mood swings on ADT
I did not equate it then with my total lack of
Testosterone
but after seeing some discussions on this board I realized that it was my female side in full bloom. Thankfully Coco is very understanding of my situation as we have very open and honest communication.

What where men with pca like pre diagnosis and treatment???
I remember being extremely highly wanting sex, most decisions used to involve sex.I'm wondering if that was a huge build up of the
testosterone
that was feeding PCA???? Seemed to be accelerated in the year or 2 leading up to diagnosis? Anyone else experience that.

Gleason score 8 and lots of questions...
He recommended Lupron but after I inquired about Orgovyx due to what I had read was a more benign side effect profile, he said that was another option but that
testosterone
levels tend to build up faster after discontinuation. Anyone have thoughts on Lupron vs. Orgovyx?

My anxiety is getting to me!
However last Thursday I had result of a private blood test I had paid for (it was mainly a
testosterone
one which incidentally is low but not low enough for NHS treatment), and my cholesterol was back up to 5.7 with triglycerides at 3.41 despite me eating like a vegan monk and not touching alcohol (I'd

ORGOVYX FOR 4-6 months ,what is the recovery time of testosterone after finishing?
At the end of 4months treatment what is the time frame for return of
testosterone
? I have heard that the pill form of orgovyx has a quicker return of
testosterone
than the lupron and other shots? How many months after finishing the 4 months on orgovyx will my testoterone return?

Multi-Drug Combo May Be Best Against Prostate Cancer...I thought it was a known fact already!
"Combining two or three
testosterone
-blocking drugs prevents the spread of prostate cancer better than just a single medication, a new clinical trial has found." Dr Aggrawal again! https://www.usnews.com/news/health-news/articles/2024-01-25/multi-drug-combo-may-be-best-against-prostate-cancer

PSA-Nadir vs Testosterone-Nadir
These plots show the linear relationship between median PSA-Nadir and median
Testosterone
-Nadir, pointing towards the Origin (i.e., 0 PSA-Nadir at 0 T-Nadir.). N= 38 men.

A List for Newly Diagnosed that My Wife did in 2022 please add to list if anything is missed or wrong or needs updating. TIA
In their study, 16 men with low to moderate metastatic burden received monthly cyclic intramuscular
testosterone
(T) injections, which elevated the ADT-suppressed T from castrate to supraphysiologic levels greater than 1500 ng/dl. The T levels fell back to baseline by 28 days.

dilemma ADT duration
Yes, OK living with 0.6-0.8
testosterone
for months now isn’t fun - and I can’t exercise. And managing my mood and anxiety can be problematic but the positive is a PSA of 0.01 for many months which I’m keen to exploit and I had in mind at least 18 months was worth a try.

Stopping Firmagon if castration resistant
Is its purpose to control the spread of
testosterone
that would otherwise make the cancer even worse? Thanks

After BCR and PSA Return: An Update on My Treatment Path
The good news: as of now, I've been off all treatments since April, and my
testosterone
levels (T) have returned to normal. More than that, I'm feeling really good, both physically and emotionally. Even better, my latest PSA tests keep coming back at <.01, which is a fantastic result.

Things that made a difference...
My
testosterone
went through the roof, but doctor said "that's what happens". And my eggs were much better quality too. 5. Prednisolone. I did IVIG too. Not sure if it helped, but prednisone certainly muted my immune response and resulted in implantation. 6.
