Do Advanz Mercury Pharma Eltroxin tabs have a score line to break easily please?
I have only found pics of the box of this brand of levothyroxine and not found it on a pil-identifyer image site. It seems that some Pharma's have 50mcg, sometimes 25mcg, but not consistant, so I am trying to give myself fall back options. I asked the Pharmacists and they dont know.....as its in

Is Mercury Pharma / Eltroxin interchangeable with Almus / Accord / Northstar / Actavis?
I have been taking Mercury Pharma / Eltroxin Levothyroxine for a while now and generally feel not too bad but not great. Ft3 and Ft4 levels are good, but I just can’t seem to shift the brain fog. I also feel exhausted after taking my meds, and have tried splitting the dose but that just made the brain

my experience with Eltroxin
I really can’t say that I think this is beneficial, it may keep the numbers lower but it does nothing for how sick I feel. I need a good endocrinologist if anyone knows of one accepting new patients. I will travel anywhere from Brampton to Fort Erie as bd I suggest you do the same if you are unsure

Feel Like I'm Going To Die...
So, not really a clickbait title. I am at the point where I actually feel like I'm going to die. My heart palpitations are so bad, I can't walk more than 50 yards, I sit all day, morning to night on the couch, I am utterly exhausted, with flu-like fatigue, eye stiffness and swelling, etc. I started

Challenging the TSH Mantra - what to do next? (long post)
Saw my endo last week : was told that she couldn’t 'in all conscience' treat a patient whose TSH was suppressed especially with increased risk of heart attack/osteoporosis (I argued this was less than 1% but was ignored). Was told that TSH is the ONLY physiological test that is accurate for ALL thyroid

ELTROXIN 100mg availability
Does anyone know of an online pharmacy who stocks Eltroxin (specifically 100mg)? I have a prescription and I am getting desperate now. Short story is I can only take Mercury Pharma or Eltroxin. I always used to have MP written on my prescription until there were supply issues (about a year ago) -

Very dry mouth
Since Covid in October 2022 I have had a dry mouth with a sore tongue and sore roof of mouth. I am now thinking it is nothing to do with Covid but maybe related to Mercury thyroxine? I have struggled for years trying to find a brand that agrees with me, ever since the original Eltroxin I by Glaxo disappeared

British National Formulary - Confusion
In the British National Formulary, there is a section for each medicine headed Medicinal Forms. You can see below that the lists start with the heading All products. However, this is just plain misleading! The first five entries are all for 12.5 microgram levothyroxine tablets. But

Eltroxin vsLevothyroxine
I always take 150mcg Levothyroxine Mercury pharma brand and that works fine for me. My pharmacy could only get eltroxin last time, but said it is the exact same pill just different packaging. A few days later and I'm not feeling that great. Could be something else, but I wanted to check with you

Best way to store medication in this heat wave
Hi I haven’t seen any advice during this hot weather about storing medications, so my question is, with temperatures in the mid thirties and higher, the temperature indoors is high too. My Eltroxin says not to store above 25 degrees, so I’ve been keeping it in the fridge, is this ok? I’d be really

UK brands of levothyroxine
Further to my post about Eltroxin earlier, I’m looking for an easily accessible brand (in England) of levo that doesn’t have acacia or mannitol. I have looked at Hellvella’s list but can’t see what’s accessible here. I identified Glenmark, but nowhere sticks it or can get hold of it. I’d be grateful

Eltroxin
I always get Eltroxin. The pharmacy said on Saturday that they don’t think Eltroxin is being made in 50 and 100 mcg anymore. The guy couldn’t find either on the system. He could only see the 25 mcg. Is that correct? If so, what are my alternatives? Is there anything very similar? Thank you!

Advanz Pharma, levothyroxine AND liothyronine

UPDATED 16 October 2022

🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥
I am adding this note because so many have had such difficulty in obtaining all Advanz Pharma/Mercury Pharma products since this was posted. I think we have to assume there are major problems with Advanz Pharma thyroid products.
