Reverse T3 results
After waiting ages for the rT3 results to come back I have finally received them today. Sample taken 8 June 175/150 mcg eltroxin alternate days: TSH 3.6 (0.27-4.5) T3 3.6 (3.1-6.8) T4 24.2 (11-23) rT3 0.46 (0.12-0.36) I have not had the rT3 test done before and can't find much out about the results.

Levothyroxine - generic or 'named' or T3
Were you aware that generic levothyroxine is not the same as Eltroxin or other 'named' levothyroxines? I know Eltroxin used to be prescribed in the UK - I think it has been withdrawn in favour of generic levothyroxines. https://www.restartmed.com/synthroid-vs-levothyroxine/ This is from TUK which many

Eltroxin
I am 67 years old and was diagnosed with underactive thyroid about 10 years ago and prescribed Eltroxin. The dose has ranged between 125 and 200 currently 150. There have been a couple of occasions when I've stopped taking it for weeks and I felt no different. So I don't think it's helping me and I want

Australia tightening up on prescribing T3
So my question is - I am looking for a supplier of T3 (similar to
Tertroxin
) anywhere in the world. If anyone has any information, I would be grateful to receive a PM from you. Thank you so much for listening!

Hello! While I’m waiting on blood results for a previous post I keep checking in on here to read the posts. I’ve seen lots of posts on weight issues with thyroid health and would like to say I’m hypothyroid, 56 years, on Eltroxin previously, Levothyroxine in past 30 years at least. I’ve tried probably

Hello , I’m new here... I’m not sure if I’m on the right page to post this but I am a 56 y/o woman in UK with congenital hypothyroidism, diagnosed at 6 months, and enjoyed a level of care throughout life (with the odd fall signalling a meds increase) and moving from Eltroxin to Levothyroxine at some

Hay guys, Seem to have constant back pains and was wondering about any links with polycystic ovaries and taking Eltroxin.
Just read an article that explains that this condition is caused by a hormone imbalance and high levels of testosterone. I know that those of us who do not convert our T4 too good may be increasing our rT4 which ive read may increase our testosterone levels and hence is this why im getting severe back

Is there a way of getting Eltroxin without a prescription?
Hi I am on 75mg Eltroxin, I posted my levels before and the opinion here was I could increase if I felt I needed it. Situation is that I think I do need to increase it, but my GP is not happy due to the “your levels are well within the normal range” I would like to try 100mg and see if it helps me

is it ok to slightly increase eltroxin dose ?
I was only a little bit hypothyroid when I was first tested. I've been taking 50mg Eltroxin for a few months now and I'm so happy to finally be experiencing some symptoms improving. I travel a ton and haven't had a chance to go in for a re-test yet but after several exhausting years, it's so nice to

My Journey on T3, sorry turned into a bit of a long post
I just wanted to give an update to my journey on T3 as only started a week ago and see if anyone else can relate or is on the start of their T3 journey with me.
