I took
Tecfidera
1st, then because my WBC went so low switched to Copaxone. Been on that 8 yrs. so now it seems like either i become disabled, or die from a deadly disease. Can anyone please help me to feel better about this?

Unnumbered post YOU and I are supposed to get worse 19 Feb 2021
I take
Tecfidera
now and write this standing at my desk. As best as I can tell, I still have Relapsing-remitting ms(RRMS). I have injection site scars on my skinny buttocks and often feel the hard injection site scarring lumps.

My doctor decided to change my med from
Tecfidera

Change from Tecfidera Dimethyl Fumarate(Generic) or Vumerity
My Insurance Co (UHC) made a decision to stop paying for
Tecfidera
as of 1/5 and will be willing to pay for Generic
Tecfidera
(Dimethyl Fumarate) my doctor advised me on today possible Vumerity, but further discussion will take place on 1/18.

Has Anyone on Tecfidera Received the COVID Vaccine?
My job is offering us the COVID vaccine, so I was wondering if anyone here has received the vaccine while on
Tecfidera
? In addition to being on
Tecfidera
, I also have a medicinal allergy (allergic to all "-cillins": Amoxicillin, Penicillin, etc.).

My first love🧡
My
Tecfidera
ran out! Yes. I’m usually smarter than that-I promise. I had almost a whole bottle of generic Tec(dimethyl fumarate) left over from my first failed attempt at switching from the
Tecfidera
brand to using the generic form.

Change from Tecfidera to Ocrevus
During the visit my Dr informed me I would need to start Ocrevus instead
Tecfidera
after being on it for 3mths. Labs were drawn and faxed to office Nov 26th. I was advised they would be calling me or Ocrevus team.

Neuro Appt
I’m now on
Tecfidera
since August 24th, MRI done in Nov that showed one active lesion an one non active and that’s why they wanted to do a quick change, of med to Ocrevus, but my thoughts were it didn’t seems like it was enough time to determine and start Ocrevus.

I do not take it as a twenty+ year veteran it is easier for me to stay on my
Tecfidera
. Besides I like my 2 times daily tablet and really do not like being stuck with needles. I have the scaring from years on Betaseron to remind me of that. So that is your first step.

Advice from Vumerity users
Looks like my insurance provider is dropping
Tecfidera
starting in December. Last month my neuro mentioned Vumerity, which is covered, but I declined because Tec works for me(not fond of dimethyl fumarate). What do you think? Should I stop being such a Tec snob and try Vumerity? 😌

Ocrevus
Tecfidera
was started on 8/24, their were a a delay in treatment from the time of being diagnosed in March due to COVID-19 and being newly diagnosed it was best not to take a chance during the highs of COVID-19. As I discussed on yesterday
Tecfidera
is my 1st med being on.

This is my 9th wk on the
Tecfidera
and the stomach issues seems to be calming down. Will meet with the GI Dr on today to make sure all is well with the past stomach issues and that it was just the med only. Thanks to everyone for giving me information on med over the last mths.

Generic Tecfidera
There was no honest reason for her to change my prescription from
Tecfidera
to dimethyl fumarate without telling me. I lost all respect for her today.

Im not sure if its the best resort but would love to know any of your experience with
Tecfidera
/Vumerity and Aubagio? I dont really want to take meds but due to location of lesions (brainstem) dr highly suggested that I should. Please help 🙏🏻 Thank you all so much for your response!
