This is my 9th wk on the Tecfidera and the stomach issues seems to be calming down. Will meet with the GI Dr on today to make sure all is well with the past stomach issues and that it was just the med only. Thanks to everyone for giving me information on med over the last mths. I am so thankful to be part of such a great group of ppl. God bless!

I will keep you all posted. GI Dr would like me to have a Colonoscopy just to make sure all is well. Just thinking since things has calmed down maybe I don’t need to put myself through nothing else for the yr. Thank you!

I would wonder if eating or drinking before Tewc might be a good idea

It's a convenient DMT but I was on it for 3 months and it just ate up my stomach. I had lost 25 lbs before my doc took me off of it.

I switched to Avonex and was good after that.

Ok. Thanks for the info. I am going to see how it work for the next mth and hopefully stomach pain goes away. The pain isn’t constantly like before just a lil more enhanced at night.

I won't refer anyone to Tecfidera since my symptoms were so severe.

hmm interesteing to hear such difficulties. I have been on it for many years and have experienced no side effects.
