hi everyone :) my mums completed 5 of 6 chemos (carbo / taxol) for frontline treatment and is really struggling with fatigue and breathlessness.

Hi , I have 1 more session of taxol/carbo left and my oncologist wants to discuss going onto avastin however, I'm not sure whether that is needed at this stage. I have ovarian 4b and have been debunked. My ca125 levels were 7 before the last chemo 3 weeks ago.

I have also been given the option of weekly Taxol to provide better relief from the ascites. If I went down this path, would it then jeopardise my chances of future enrolment on a trial? Your valuable thoughts and experience would be appreciated.

I had an ultra radical debulking surgery in August that year, followed by 6 rounds of carbo/taxol and maintenance via olaparib. I had a CT scan back in August which highlighted a mass on the wall of my stomach.

Hi all, My previous treatment (Taxol/Keytruda) did not work - which was a huge disappointment - and I’m starting Gemzar on Monday. I have extensive Mets in the liver, a few (& growing) in bones.

I’m not bothered as I’ve been lucky (or unlucky some may like to call it) as was allergic to Taxol and caelyx so haven’t lost my hair on the last two chemo regimes, but just want to get looking at decent wigs if this is the case this time around.

Xeloda markers jumped and also progression into my liver and other bones My oncologist is changing me to IV chemo (my first experience) The choices are Enhertu, Taxol, or Erbulin. Has anyone else a similar experience and what treatment was decided on?

Following that I was put on Tamoxifen Arimidex and Taxol. After being off for 5 years last year in 2022 I was diagnosed in the other breast with cancer. I had surgery and a implant put in place. I am on Ibrance and Fulvestrant.

I had my first Carbo/Taxol infusion last Thursday. The day before I had to go to the dentist as I had bad jaw ache and thought it must be a tooth infection. It wasn't luckily. (I think I had had pre-chemo nerves-related nightmares the previous two nights and had been grinding my teeth..!)

This year, she was on Taxol then Enhertu. Enhertu has helped with the liver mets (not completely gone) but she developed fluid in her lungs so has had to stop Enhertu. (We were really hoping Enhertu, the "miracle chemo" would have worked longer-she was on it for about 6 treatments).

Hi ladies, I am stage 4 and have had 2 lines of carbo/taxol/avastin I am having an MRI scan today and have had a CT scan, my symptoms are a little bit of bloating and pain in my tummy and other areas since September last year when my ca-125 started increasing from 66, going up and up and now at 650

Hi I was diagnosed Jan 2018 with HG serous ovarian CA had ultra radical debulking and carbo taxol chemo. Re-occurrence 4 years later had carbo taxol again then went on to Rubraca for 10 months CA125 increased so it was stopped and I'm now awaiting 6th chemo with carbo caelyx.

my mom… have ovarian cancer since 2017, till 2021 in remission, affer each summer carbo taxol and 6 month off… that this may she has shock from palitaxel and they give her only taxol… after 3 rounds ct shows some mts.

So now I start weekly Taxol IVs at the cancer center on Wed. and have radiation this Thursday and Friday and then next week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I've had "extensive" bone mets since original diagnosis but this is the first time I have pain, nearly 20 years into MBC.

I did not realize but in 2016, Taxol (pacitaxol0 (sp). So he wants me to do eribuline. dx er/pr+ luminal A with her2 low. I do not get it, nothing is working. Taxol could be used after eribuline if it does not work. I do not care about losing my hair, I just want to live.

She is due to start the same regime of chemo carbo/taxol as she had after her debulking surgery in December 21. Her oncologist also said she can have Niraparib following the chemo. Mum is currently feeling well with no symptoms other than her rising CA125.

I had 6 rounds of carbo/taxol/avastin. Interval and delayed debulking not done as deemed too risky. I did however have a partial response, CA125 reducing from 12000 to 4000. (So high) Mesenteric disease was the main problem as it was too close to the bowel.

Hello I know some chemo regimes are similar to ours in the states for the most part I have another appointment with my Onc this Friday with my concerns regarding 6 Carbo/Taxol/Keytruda cocktail would love to hear what was chosen for a 1st recurrence and how your doing. Thank you!

cancer stage IV with bcra1 mutation started in June 2016, with chemo, debulking hysterectomy surgery and more chemo...stayed in avastin and then olaparib as maintenance until had a reocurrence in February 2022, spread to collarbone lymph nodes and tummy.Lost for the second time all my hair with carbo/ taxol
