I am currently taking anastrozole, have tried letrozole, and
tamoxifen
. Am having a really hard time with joint pain, fatigue and some depression (which I already had before the breast cancer). I walk for 2+ miles 3 times per week but I still feel tired and fatigued with terrible knee pain.

Enzalutamide/Xtandi monotherapy as ADT with fewer side effects than Lupron
You can take
tamoxifen
10-20 mg to avoid that. Radiation of the breast will also help when done before starting with Enzalutamide monotherapy. Another side effect is fatigue. The Embark study will report on further side effects of this therapy.

Letrozole/CTD agony. Yoga is better than massage says Med Research!
I'm hoping to swap to another option, one I'd not heard of - Aromasin, also called EXEMESTANE - as the
Tamoxifen
made my white blood cells plummet to a bad degree and I had no energy at all so had to come off it. If any of you are on the Aromasin, please let me know how you find/found it?

Tamoxifen
Hello Everyone, I wonder if anyone can help, please, I have been on
Tamoxifen
for 5 months now and the side effects are awful. The fatigue is the worst thing and it comes as complete weakness to the point that I cannot function, or walk or anything but sit down.

Letrozole(Femara) /joint pain threads continued.....
Although Letrozole works better than
Tamoxifen
it is better on your body. When I go back in May, we will do both a CT Scan and a Bone scan. HE TELLS ME IF I AM NED FOR THE NEXT 3 YEARS, HE WILL TAKE ME OFF ALL MEDICATIONS! WHAT???

radiation fibrosis and lymphedema
Secondly, for those of you who were diagnosed and treated pre-menopause, only with radiation and surgery, not chemo or
tamoxifen
, did you experience substantial period changes after radiation? I have been having huge clots and heavy bleeding, which they are telling me is related to my treatment.

Can Eligard cause gynecomastia?
I've been told that I can't take
tamoxifen
. Does insurance usually cover that type of treatment?

EMBARK Study: ADT vs Enzalutamide +/- ADT
(Can be managed by breast radiation or
tamoxifen
). I don't see where they reported castrate resistance in the monotherapy arm?? This pretty much is the end of ADT monotherapy for the SOC in high risk BCR (or beyond).

Why do we use IFN-α vs IFN-β? Might IFN-β be preferred?
(IFN-α with
tamoxifen
is also a possibility) -Another proposed combo: Combination Therapy of
Tamoxifen
, Retinoic Acid, and rIFN-B -IFN-α is our best bet for now but: We can conclude that stem-cell targeted therapy with rIFN-a2 will be the cornerstone in the future treatment

No Blood Markers…
I have been diagnosed with non-metastatic Breast Cancer 3 times since 2005 (2 rounds of radiation +
tamoxifen
and then a bilateral mastectomy in 2016). My final Stage 4 diagnosis came in 2022 with mets in spine, Lungs & lymph nodes.

Anyone else get neurothapy from taking Flecainide?
I am also on
Tamoxifen
and it may be that it is that but the medics think it is as a result of drug toxicity. My EP suggested I stop taking the morning dose and see if it subsides but for me that is quite a scary option as I haven’t had AF for nearly a year now. Just curious 😝 x

I’ve been on Bicalutamide 50 mg monotherapy since August 2019 along with
tamoxifen
10 mg and finasteride 1.25 mg. PSA went from 65 in August 2019 to < .02 in March 2020 and remained there until July 2022. I have a small inoperable tumor in the left seminal vesicle next to wall of rectum.

Support Anxious about my Mother
In 2020 the breast cancer was found and removed as well, no spread to lymph nodes so she is on
tamoxifen
and had radiation back then. The
tamoxifen
has many side effects that we cannot tell if its dyalisis or something else. She has not had appetite but that's not new with her treatment.
