Can Eligard cause gynecomastia?

I was diagnosed with PCa in June of 2022. I was started on Eligard 3 month injections in August,2022. I may be on Eligard for a total of 18 months. Also, in December, I will start 28 sessions of EBRT. Would it be a good idea to get radiation to my chest area to prevent gynecomastia? I've been told that I can't take tamoxifen. Does insurance usually cover that type of treatment?

Eligard doesn't usually cause gynecomastia except in a small minority of men. There isn't enough estrogen. No need for prophylactic radiation.
