High T3 and T4
Low TSH points to hyperthyroidism. High T3 and T4 also point to hyperthyroidism. Your numbers aren't far off, however. Guarantee that my Dr. would be in agreement with your GP. I'd just wait and have it all retested in a few months. Also, I can tell you by experience, that anxiety could be causing

Starting on Armour
Starting on Armour for first time tomorrow, I have been told to take 1/2 grain at 8am and 1/4 grain at 3pm. According to the Thyroid Pharmacists conversion table that is equivalent to 75 levo, I am currently only on 50 levo which I have been told to stop while I trial the Armour. I tried 75 levo 3

Relevance of TSH vs T3/T4
My TSH varies considerably: 1.5 to 3.1 in a number of NHS test but my T4 has been more consistent between 17.4 to 19.1. In two Blue Horizon tests:TSH 1.29 and 4.7 with T4 15 and 14.5 and T3 4.2 and 4.21. So fairly constant T3 and T4 but wildly varying TSH. These results all for 75mcg dose over almost

Levothyroxine optimised?
Hi lovely people! My latest thyroid results were: TSH 1,27 (0,380-5,330μUI/mL) (18% through range) fT4 1,16 (0.38-1,40 ng/dL) (88% through range) fT3 3,79 (2,5-3,9pg/mL) (92% through range) Miraculously they finally tested fT3 for the first time, and I was so happy to see that I seem to be converting

Hi, thank you for letting me join🙂
I have a long history of Hypothyroidism. A lot of ups and downs on the journey. I was prescribed T3 quite a few years ago but then had it withdrawn because of cost. It took me 10 years to get it reinstated and get my life back on track. It's been a long battle. Am looking forward to connecting with others

Hypothyroidism
I took this information back to my GP who dismissed the
test
results, said they would need to do another TSH as
T3
and T4 not an accurate indication for hypothyroidism! I’m exhausted going back and forth! Any advice?

normal TSH help.
I am about to go to the doctors in an hour to speak about some blood tests I had done last week. To me the results are on the higher side. From what I’m reading most doctors don’t like to do antibody tests and t3 and t4. How can I persuade them to do these just to check my levels? I had lots of other

First time posting here with questions
Hello, I was wondering how to tell if you need b12 injections when you take oral b12 and your serum b12 always comes out looking great? I haven't had it tested recently but past tests always come out way over the range. Anyway, I saw a post by @Marz in which she said that she takes b12 due to having

Hypothyroid muscle aches
I have been sub-clinically hypothyroid for at least 14 years, based on my medical records, and was was treated for hypothyroid when my T4 dipped below range for a short while. Stopped when back into bottom of range and T4 always remained low. My TSH was normally around 4.5 - 5. When I asked for treatment

T3 only. No tests to compare to, only TSH. How much T3?
I have had a very rocky road trying to get better with Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism. When on levothyroxine only, I had increased via GP from 25mg to 50mg and then I needed an increase to 75mg. A lot happened but now I am with my second endocrinologist (my choice) who has prescribed T3 only due to levothyroxine

Hunger advice
I have only recently (2 weeks) started to increase my thyroxine from 75/100 to 100 per day due to recent low T4 for me, T3 was above 50% but TSH was climbing. However, I still experience feeling hungry, particularly at night, when I have already eaten my evening meal. Is this a symptom of being over

Some help please with latest thyroid results.
Hi everyone, hope everyone is having a nice day. A snippet of my story. I am a bad converter T4 to T3. Endo put me on T3 as my T4 was showing over range and my T3 just scrapping in at the bottom. he told me to half T4 from 100 to 50 and take 10 of T3. I was not good on this dose my hypothyroid symptoms

Thyroid function tests
Hi all, The GP has printed off a form for me to take to the hospital tomorrow to check my TSH levels. I’ve noticed on the form it says, ‘thyroid function tests’. Does this include T3 and T4? I know last time I only had a result for TSH. If so, do I need to fast? My test isn’t until 4pm.
