Thyroid dosage for elderly Mom
I just rec'd back a note thru her my chart regarding her thyroid dosage.. just a little back story.. had iodine ablation a few years ago, (was hyper).. that led to hypo, and was put on
synthroid
, i think it started at 50, and went as high as 100 as a dosage... at that time she was also on an anti arrhythmia

Covid booster shot and thyroid levels
My daily dose is 90 mg ERFA + 25 mcg
Synthroid
. I was feeling fairly normal on this dose prior to the booster shot. I don’t have my most recent results handy but will try to find them and post if needed. Thanks for any advice/suggestions

T3 (Cytomel): How would you fit it in these results? Or would you? And all the mistakes I have made on this journey
Synthroid
50s are the least additives a la dyes. This is the most important change for me.

I'm concerned just
Synthroid
is not converting to optimal T3. Currently just replaced my 100mcg of
Synthroid
with 300mg of Thyro-Gold. Early days. Drs here do not believe in T3 treatment. Any advice please!

question about increasing synthroid?
when increasing a dose of
synthroid
it speeds up your metabolism???? Does the increase also affect the way you metabolize other medications you take???

Reaching out to find the member who successfully did every other day hormone cycling
Nor can I easily import Thyroid S (have had one bottle stopped at border)
Synthroid
is crazy cheap here. But I 100% can not do T4 only due to how poorly I felt. I have one full new bottle of Thyroid S. And tons of
Synthroid
due to dose changes. And the ability to afford it going forward.

Blood results - Any Advice?
Now I am on
Synthroid
0.112 mg (112 mcg) and skip one dose every other Friday (as recommended by my previous endocrinologist). My new doctor is not changing my dosage said I am normal and doing well. She will not redo my bloodwork again until August.

I have CH and honestly it would be nice to hear from others who have it
I take 200 mcg of
Synthroid
. I work full-time. I'm married. No children. Anyway, it would be nice to feel less alone. The treatment for the condition is that bad when compared with other conditions. It would just be nice to feel a little less alone in this way.

Dr switching me from Synthroid/Cytomel to Armour. Can you please share your experiences?
Hi everyone, First off, thank you for being so helpful to me and others. This is such a great group of people with knowledge that surpasses most doctors. I posted 2 weeks ago that my reverse T3 is high and saw my dr yesterday. She wants to put me on an equivalent amount of Amour to see if my body

Trying LDN and have pain in feet and hands, anyone else with increased pain?
Hi everyone, I have had Hashis for 30 years and take 100 mg
Synthroid
and 5 mcg of Cytomel. My TSH is low and my T3 is barely hanging in there , my vitamin levels are good , I avoid gluten so my endo is letting me do a trial of LDN.

Patience… right? (Med change, blood test timing, heart racing)
About 4 weeks into an increase in
Synthroid
. Now on 50mcg, plus 10 Cytomel. Previously 25 plus 10. (Note I switched from Lio to Cytomel brand a week ago but below problem precedes that) I am waiting to hit the 6 week mark to get my numbers.

Can't find proper thyroid medication
Hi all, I've tried almost all thyroid medications under the sun, NDT, T4 only (tirosint,
synthroid
, euthyrox), T4 + T3, T3 only, NDT + T4. And no matter what I still have lingering symptoms despite all my levels being optimal ( TSH, free T4 and free T3).

need reassurance
just increased
synthroid
to 100mcg. My tsh went up to 15. Tsh lab tab range (.5-4) in states. I am beginning third week and should be used to side effects when increasing due to sensitivity. This week always seems to be the hardest of the up and downs.

Hypothyroidism and bamboo extract
Did it cause issues with your thyroid function or interfere with your
Synthroid
medication.? I have been taking it for a few months and just learned via internet that it may pose an issue with those that are hypothyroid.
