Not feeling better on T4 (Help)

I just started taking levothyroxine at 25mcg and felt joint pain, suppressed appetite, fatigue, and jitters. Am i taking too much? Is there something about the fillers about levothyroxine or something? I am confused because I have hypothyroidism and feel like **** alot. I heard Synthroid has less fillers and people seem to react better to it but i dont know where to find the sourcing for it and i dont even know if thats the issue. Thank you for your time.

25mcg Levo is a low starting dose. Usually for those that are young, elderly or have heart issues. 50mcg is standard.

How long have you been on this dose?

Initially the dose will increase levels but as the TSH adjusts the thyroid output is reduced. ie It replaces thyroid levels, doesn’t continue to top up. Every 6 weeks you need retest & increase dose in 25mcg steps.

Some report they feel more hypothyroid on a low dose than if on none at all.

Do you have any results? TSH, FT4, FT3, TPO & TG antibodies. Nutrients - folate, ferritin, B12 & Vitamin D?

Do you test as recommended? Was explained in previous post.
