Symbicort

Can anyone please tell me why most sites on internet say people with asthma can use Symbicort up to 8 times a day but with copd you have to stick to morning and evening doses? doesnt make a great deal of sense to me. thanks for your time.

Hello 👋 I recently had my annual bout of freshers' flu from the lovely little dears at work, but managed to avoid prednisolone by upping my Symbicort to 12 doses/day. I managed to get it down to 6 doses/day but now I can't seem to get back to 4!

I have been taking symbicort 2puffs 2x daily. Also taking Monttelukast 10 mg 1x a day. So if an expert or MD is in here I want to say I quit taking the symbicort completely and feel better not taking it. Has it done it’s job and don’t need it any more for now?

So I’m having a bad exacerbation of asthma and have been advised by GP to use up to TEN extra doses a day until it subsides…. So that’s TWELVE in one day. That’s a lot. Would love feedback from anyone who’s done this please. Freaking me out a bit. x

hi I’ve been prescribed a Symbicort inhaler for low peak flow. Is it ok to take with all my meds for heart failure and AF. I’ve tried a dose and I got some palpitations a splitting headache and some chest pain. This could be due to anxiety but I’ve stopped the inhaler whilst I get more advise.

I have been on Symbicort 400/12 taking 2 puffs twice daily for 4 years and wondered if I should be issued with a steroid card. Thank you. 🙂

When I've read literature, it seems to suggest not using symbicort before exercise. Inhalers only last a month if I only use 2 puffs twice a day, add in a puff before exercise, and usually some after, I get through them really quick!

I may be lucky I only take 1 puff morning & night, very rare I need to increase it. I also have montelucast at night. But I only have very mild asthma. I developed asthma with my first son 50 yrs ago during pregnancy, it also was a problem during my second pregnancy. But I feel very lucky. Hope they

On symbicort 200, 2 x puffs twice daily. Then increased to 4 x puffs daily, then 3 weeks ago 8 to 10 puffs per day. I also have been taking montelucast 10mg per night. My peak flow has started spiking up to double the usual reading from 260 to 340 up to 660, and yesterday it increased to 840.

I was on Symbicort, then Trixeo but I kept having exacerbations. Two months ago a clinical pharmacist offered me a choice between Trimbow and Trelegy. I chose Trimbow, not realising two of the medications are the same as Fostair.

changing from Symbicort to Foster inhaler, what are the reviews on Foster inhaler

If side effects of Fostair still present I will go back to my Symbicort.

well out of date went doctors gave new one 2 puff every so often in the night can’t breath waking up tired went doctors said ok chest X-ray, then chest scan blood test nothing, still can stop cough or get full breath, so given this white tube with red twist bottom to make a click called turbohaler symbicort

I am now in symbicort turbohaler and have been for years.I am lucky as I am very well controlled, thankfully with symbicort and montelucust.

Ok so i tried the quacks i tried a healer and i persuaded myself i was getting better i end up in HOSPITAL for 3 days, Before i tell my story i never leave the house with my symbicort and if i am out of town i have my symbicort and ventolin. This stuff saves your life dont ever forget it .

I’m on symbicort still no real relief. Almost like every month these is symptoms going into a flare. I do have slight bronciactisis but not that severe. Just wondering other people’s symptoms. Thanks everyone

Been on symbicort for years doesn't seem to be worki g now. Nurse suggesting a hange to Voater inhalef. What are the reviews on people using this inhaler,
