Undiagnosed Digestive Tract Symptoms w/Marfan Syndrome
As a preventative measure, the doctor prescribed Protonix once a day and
Sucralfate
twice a day. My fiance is now scheduled for a colonoscopy later on this month. On his own, he has tried a liquid diet, removing dairy from his diet and probiotics to no avail.

Colchicine / Sucralfate
I recently had an ablation and the doctor prescribed these drugs. Also a drug called Pantoprozole. Are these really necessary? I never had issues with GERD or ulcers before.

Acid reflux
I stopped taking the PPI, Ranitidine and
Sucralfate
they had prescribed and started taking a Zypan and a digestive enzyme with my meals. Also started taking a probiotic. My stomach and digestion issues are a lot better.

Rectal bleeding after ablation, anyone?
Called my doctor's nurse; I asked if the 2 drugs (
Sucralfate
& pantoprazole sod) taken after ablation for gastrointestinal reflux and to prevent GI ulcers, could be the culprit, but she said that would be unlikely; very rare. Has anyone had such an experience?
