Stopping supplements
I am not sure whether taking supplements is good or not. However, I am sharing my experience. I was taking a herbal supplement called Ashwagandha whose scientific name is Withania somnifera for last one year. My left leg continued to drag and pain despite of this supplement along with the regular doses

Oestrogen and thyroid function
Hi, after 15 years of oestrogen patch and 18 years of thyroxine, I had to come off the oestrogen 6 days ago (cold turkey) due to a diagnosis of breast cancer. All well so far with regards to menopausal symptoms although I am taking herbal supplements. Today after breakfast my temperature suddenly dropped

Anyone find calcium tablets difficult to stomach?
Has anyone found that taking calcium tablets doesn’t agree with them? I started taking Accrete D3 on Monday, each film coated tablet contains cholecalciferol 400IU and calcium 600mg ( as calcium carbonate 1500mg) and I take 2 a day. The excipients are hydrogenated soya-bean oil and sucrose. I’ve felt

Betrayal and the Horrible Pain After
This started out as a response to Manerva regarding the person who is taking gabapentin and this whole vitamin regimen and wearing compression socks (sleeves he calls them) and my thoughts on it but while it started out that way it’s grown so much deeper and morphed into gut wrenching pain and this

Panic Attack
I'm new here and I'm not sure why I came. I mean, I'm having a panic attack but there's nothing anyone can do for me to make it stop. I keep telling myself I'm okay, it's just a panic attack. I haven't had a bad attack like this in a long time - I found that some herbal supplements worked to stop them

CAN HERBAL MEDICINES FIGHT WUHAN CORONAVIRUS?
With all the media attention around the new coronavirus (flu) strain, it's important to understand what it is and how you can reduce your risk of getting ill. I'm not going to rewrite the article, you need to read it for yourself. https://plantmedicines.org/plant-medicines-fight-wuhan-coronavirus/

I cured myself of PMR without Steriods.
THIS IS NOT A TREATMENT THAT PMR/GCAUk RECOMMENDS. Yellowbluebell, moderator I was diagnosed with PMR last Jan. 2019. I did not take any steroids but I did take Chinese herbal supplements, changed my diet to more vegetarian and used yoga and Tai Chi as my ways of stretching my body. I took the supplements
