Using inhalers when they cause oral thrush
I am supposed to use ventolin,
spiriva
and secretive but after using for a few days develop really bad thrush making it impossible to eat or drink. The only relief is when I use Daktarin for it but I am on warfarin and this rais s my blood levels so high the Dr doesn't like me using it.

Help please
I am taking montelukast,
Spiriva
and Symbicort smart but the symptoms don't seem to be relieving. Prior to this I had no problems at all with my chest but six years ago I got a chest infection which went on to pneumonia and then pleurisy and that seems to have been what has triggered everything.

2 Steps Forward 1 Step Back...
and he said from the results we'll know whether to commence
Spiriva
or try something else. He wants to see me again in six weeks. My asthma's been controllable for the last couple of weeks but now that I'm home for Christmas it's getting worse again.

I went to a pulmonary specialist , who put me on the
Spiriva
handi-haler. I also use Xoponex inhaler 4x daily, as needed. I find that I'm very fatigued. I used to exercise & was very active. I hope to get back to that soon.

He suggested she try the drug
Spiriva
and he told her she never should have been put on Advair in the first place. With
Spiriva
, her legs began to ache so badly that she could no longer bend down without having help to get back up.

Reflux and asthma?
Since then I have been on Fostair,
Spiriva
and Salbutamol. I have to take montelucast from the start. In addition I have a nasal spray and cetirizine. I also take Omeprazole and Peptac acid. Oh yes ... and I take theiCal-D3. Which to be honest, none have made a great deal difference.

Unstable, uncontrolled asthma and been on every possible inhaler, I'm on xolair also. ANY ONE ON THEOPHYLLINE??
I've been on every inhaler on the market, added into this was
spiriva
- stopped as pressure behind my eyes and they added Seebri which I don't really take as it makes me cough continually.

Problems with corticosteroid inhalers
I was initially prescribed
Spiriva
, but found it made me very tired and dizzy; I'm now on my third corticosteroid inhaler, but concerned about the poor sleep it gives me and the fact that it seems to exacerbate my symptoms after a few days. It might help me (and my doctor!)
