Disappointing Consultation
Just had consult after 6 cycles carbo/caelyx (this is second line) not much shrinkage. CA number was 40 before 5th chemo and has gone up to 57! I made the mistake of asking to see my CT scan, never seen one before and I was horrified at the size of the tumours, knew the measurements but not actually

Restarted C25K after cancer
Hi, just relaying my experiences so you don't give up. I've just ran W4R2 after restarting Couch to 5K on New Years Day. That's 2 years to the day since I graduated C25K but things went a bit wrong after that. Graduated 1/1/19 but started getting slower and tired all the time. Finally found out I had

Black stools following Chemo
I've just completed 4 cycles of Chemo therapy after removing a tumour from my Colon. Ihave a stoma bag and my output is black / dark brown. I've had two OGD's to check out the bleeding in my stomach but they found nothing except gastritis. Has anyone had any similar experiences. Thank you. Michael

Hopefully help with thickening.
I have really got to share this, I had an emergency stoma fitted in February this year and I have had lots of trouble with the thickness because my stoma is so high and I have just found a couple of weeks ago when I was in hospital I was not happy with the food so I got a curry out of M&S and it thickened

Management of moderate to severe incontinence – no AUS 800 possible but an ileal conduit diversion did the trick
A recent, comprehensive post at the Fight Prostate Cancer (FPC) hub of HU about the Artificial Urinary Sphincter prompted me to update my husband journey. That post made me think a description of my husband’s incontinence experience and his long journey to a solution might be similarly helpful to some

Hartmann’s reversal?
Has anyone had a Hartmann’s reversal at all and how did they find it? I would like my stoma reversed in around ten months, all being well. Thank you Denise

Hi Dogbot here I am on the liver transplant list but also the doctors are talking about a reversal for my stoma bag , now I think I will ask them to wait for my reversal because I have heard that it’s not an easy recovery and I don’t want to put off my Trasplant.
