Any treatments left?
Good afternoon, my dad has been battling this awful disease for 2 1/2 years. We have exhausted the majority of treatments. He has been on abiraterone, Xtandi twice, zytiga, Docetaxel, radium-223, BAT and now he is about to get his 8th treatment of Jevtana. He is 77 years old and is tolerating the Jevtana

Dealing with balanitis since March - suggestions?
Do the equivalent of sitz baths daily with dissolved
sodium
perborate (Ie. Hydrogen Peroxide) c. Try to keep skin retracted. He said he does NOT like creams to treats balanitis (think they're more harm than good).

Is my experience with IBS normal/Any tips?
Hi, I’ve had IBS for for around 4 or 5 years now and was wondering whether my experiences with it have been normal or if something else could be wrong also. I think my IBS flares are brought on due to anxiety more than diet as ever since I was at school I would get diarrhoea and pains nearly every day

Albumin Creatinine Ratio Urine
His kidney specialist says it's because he eats too much salt but his
sodium
levels are always low normal. Can anyone tell me what this high reading means and how can I bring it down. Thanks.

Switching gears due to insurance denial of treatment plan
My MO was set to give me cabazitaxel with carboplatin as docetaxel was not working. However, insurance denied this treatment as not being beneficial. When MO asked for peer review the insurance doctor, who appears to know little about treatment of prostate cancer being specific to each individual, denied

Results : Organic Acid Test (OAT) from Great Plains Laboratory.
I wanted to share the details of the results for my mother, based on Urine test . Hopefully, this will help a few on this forum. I am only indicating the High/Low items in the report. The remaining ( of the total of 77 items) were within the Ref. Range. See attached sample report from their website

Mistreatment of women by the NHS

Low blood sodium
He called me and said that my blood
sodium
was low and decreased my Hydrochlorothiazide to12 1/2 mg. I hope that works but I also saw that the same symptoms an low blood
sodium
can be caused by your Adrenal glands not working! He checked my CRP level and it was fine.

More blood work
The first test I had done was the Comprehensive Metabolic Profile (Glucose,
Sodium
, Potassium, etc). The test I had done yesterday was CBD and Differential (WBC, RBC, Hemoglobin, etc) and the results look good to me. I am sure my neuro's nurse will call Monday to let me know for sure.

Next Steps? Radium 223 or Jevanta (Cabazitaxel) - HELP - NEED ADVICE.
My friend is 56. Already gone thru Chemo (docetaxal), provenge, zytiga and xandi. MO wants him to start chemo which he doesnt want to do (again) and wants to know thoughts from others. Success (O.S) statistics with Radium 223? Running out of options. His PSA is rising but still low at .7 and imaging

Happy Day!
I’ll drink some low
sodium
V8 if I feel like my heart seems “jumpy”. At one point, I was taking quite a bit of magnesium taurine but I have not supplemented for the past 6 months - just because I forget. I have turned from running to jog/walking and actually enjoy it.

Seeking a salt substitute
Since I went on a low
sodium
diet due to heart failure and kidney disease, I have been searching for a salt substitute that I like, while avoiding anything with chemical content. I have tried Mrs. Dash table blend, etc., and it's okay but not real satisfactory for me.
