Cll diagnosis for my dad
Hi my dad who is going to be 78 this November was told yesterday that he has cll stage 4 - so I believe that means it’s in his bone marrow ( he had a biopsy to confirm that) his lymph nodes are enlarged ( he also had a biopsy on one in his neck which confirmed non Hodgkin low grade lymphoma ) and the

Low Dose Naltrexone
Hello Everyone! I am new here and waiting on my diagnosis. I take low dose Naltrexone to help lower my thyroid antibodies and it is working! Has anyone ever heard of taking this to lower APS antibodies? Thanks so much!

A remembrance of P.C. Venkat - plus
Hi All, I am emailing from the Kafe Kerouac on High St. in Columbus OH on the ending of my 7th year for successful containment of my CLL with PCI-32765 (Ibrutinib/Imbruvica). It is a bittersweet anniversary in the knowledge that it has also been just 2 days past 10 years ago that our community lost P.C

My new CLL Treatment
My oncologist is recommending a drip of Rituxan and Bendamustine for my CLL treatment to replace Imbruvica since I had heart issues with this drug. Is anyone else getting this treatment? If so, any serious side effects?

HG and platelet number for starting therapy
My doctor recommended me that chemotherapy should be started because my number of hemoglobin went down less than 11.0 g/dl (it is international criterion for starting therapy) to 10.8 g/dl. However, I do not want to start therapy now. I want to ask a question to especially someone who has experience

SCT just got real.
I had my bone marrow trephine 2 weeks ago and, having not recieved a follow up appointment, decided to call the hospital this morning. Imagine my surprise when the nurse not only tells me that I have a date for the pre transplant tests, but an admission date for the SCT too. All became very real suddenly
