Am I A severe Asthmatic?
But as at last year February,
seretide
was not effectively controlling my asthma, so, sometimes I do use prednisone, Monteleukast and rescue inhaler to achieve control.

Asthma grew from mild to uncontrolled
It became an everyday symptoms then my doctor recommended
Seretide
which I am presently on. At first it did control my asthma very well but now
seretide
doesn't work well on me, it doesn't control my symptoms as it does in the past. I now heavily rely on my rescue inhaler .

Has anybody fond Formoterol Oxis etc to be better with less reflux or indigestion?
I have tried the combination
Seretide
, Ventolin and Serevent and they all give me really bad reflux. I'm on a PPI etc but it only makes it just about bearable.

Dr refuses me Ventolin
My GP refuses to give me Ventolin and
Seretide
due (as he puts is) to the CCG rules. I am allowed to take Salamol and Sirdupla as these are recommended by the CCG. However, Salamol is horrible, leaves a nasty taste, makes my throat sore and dry. GP still refuses me Ventolin.

I'm new here
I take
Seretide
everyday as a preventer and rarely use my blue reliever. The worst problem is spray air fresheners and perfumes, while they smell nice they start me wheezing and reaching for my Ventolin. Always having to look for fragrance free washing liquid, etc.

Side Affects of Areosol inhalers Reflux
I was on
Seretide
then split that out into Flixotide and Serevent and they both give me really bad chest pain which feels like reflux but might not be. They all use HFA 134a as a propellant so is that a coincidence? But Alvesco does not any ideas or comments please?

Alvesco what are your experiences
I'm about a month in from switching from
Seretide
250 x 4 a day to Alvesco 160 2 in the morning and Serevent 25 x 4 a day. I'm not sure that this combination is working for my asthma as well as
seretide
?

Inhaler trials Alvesco and reflux with Seretide Serevent
I've kept a diary now and all the bad reflux is when I'm on
Seretide
and Serevent. I have tried Alvesco but I'm not convinced it works for me and it makes me feel peculiar when I take it and I so wanted it to work.
Seretide
has been brilliant for my asthma control but its now time to rethink.

Long Acting Beta Agonists & Reflux
I think ive been on
Seretide
about 12 years and I started with mild reflux a few years in but all the health professionals dismissed any of my meds as being involved. Im taking just Flixotide and Montelukast at the moment and as its so hot and dusty I do feel it.

Seretide going out of production?
I've recently been moved from
seretide
evohaler, which was great, to fostair, which I don't think to be so good. My GP tells me I can't go back to
Seretide
because the manufacturer is ceasing production. Is this correct and, if so, is there a better alternative?

How to cope with an ongoing productive cough
I took
seretide
500 for 8 years now, only to be told I should come off it, as this particular inhaler is predominantly for ASTHMA which I do not suffer from. Also, my spirometry was normal - so I do not have COPD which was the original diagnosis 8 years ago!!!!!!!

Digestive reflux issues caused by steroids
I now do not take
Seretide
as it makes my reflux worse I take Ciclisonide Alvesco with a releiver if I need it. For me I dont think I need a combination inhaler all the time just when Im ill I just need the steroid inhaler to keep inflamation down. The LABA definitely made my reflux worse.
