Switching from Seretide to Sereflo?
Is it likely that I would be able to switch from
Seretide
125/25 to Sereflo 125/25? How easy would it be for a pharmacy to get that in, and is a GP likely to authorise it? I've been stable on
Seretide
125/25 for around 6 months now, after changing down from
Seretide
250/25.

Seretide 250/25
My GP has me on
Seretide
3 puffs x 2 am and pm. Is anyone else in a similar situation? I know the recommendations are 2 puffs x 2 a day but it’s just jut enough for me. Would be really interested to hear what others do to stay of oral steroids in times of flare up. Xx

What medication next?
(He came off
seretide
and switched to the Flixotide and Formoterol earlier in the year). Just wondering if any of you have ideas what they might suggest or if there is anything I should ask about?

Preventers make it harder for me to breathe. Does this happen to anyone else?
Three times I have tried preventers but had to stop - becotide twice and
seretide
once. Each time I had the same symptoms. I am relating these symptoms how I see them in my mind. I have no idea what is happening in my lungs - just my symptoms. During these times I also took ventolin.

Symbicort to Seretide Last chance systemic steroids are yuck
I’m on
Seretide
just to see if my body will accept this new type of inhaler. Has anyone else had experience of being so very sensitive to steroids inhaled or oral? If all else failed for you, what did you end up doing? I am a clean eating person trying to get better no matter what.

In need of your expertise!
Clenil was then switched to
SERETIDE
. I was referred for a private diagnosis whilst awaiting my NHS referral and the doctor unfortunately would not listen to the full story and my history of allergies and told me to stop my medications and decided it was anxiety.

Change of inhaler
Can anyone tell me if there is any advantage to changing from 2 puffs
Seretide
250 twice a day to DuoResp Spiromax one puff twice a day? I have successfully managed my asthma [I'm 66] but the asthma nurse tells me
Seretide
is being phased out.

Seretide
Hi all, recently diagnosed with asthma and started
seretide
on Friday. Yesterday I felt very shaky - like my blood sugar was low and I felt wet tired . In the middle of the night I had leg cramps and today I keep getting cramps in my hands. Is this normal ?

Lactose in asthma inhalers
But I had kicked off about the Lactose content in DuoResp as I have spent 40 years avoiding milk product, only to find that
Seretide
also contains Lactose.

Still coughing
I’m on
Seretide
250. Montelukast gives me nightmares. Relvar made me cough more. Fostair made me crazy. I have a few chest infections and tend to take pred/anti biotics 4-5 times a year. The consultant shrugs and says asthmatics cough. He says I’m fit.

All my story is heavily thyroid related (had thyroid cancer) but I was on an inhaler for 10+ years

Has anyone changed from Seretide 250 to Fostair 100/6?
I have just had my medication for my asthma changed from
Seretide
to Fostair as the nurse was concerned that long term use of
Seretide
at a high dose could lead to side effects in the future like diabetes.

Do we have a right to choose inhaler?
I wonder if now would be a good time to try
seretide
again. I am currently taking Eklira, symbicort and salbutamol, I am trying to exercise but am so short of breath have to have a sit down and get puff back after getting dressed!

Braltus
I take theophylline and
seretide
and they have now introduced Braltus. Does anyone have experience with this or have tips on how best to use it? What's the best breathing technique?

What should I ask my consultant?
He changed the Symbicort to
Seretide
500, 2 puffs twice a day. I wasn’t sure at first but after a few days I felt that my lower lungs felt less tight, however I now feel that my upper airway is tight and full of mucus and over the last week this feels worse.

Feeling better, but peek flow still low
Hi all, after many years of well controlled symptoms on
seretide
recently I had been really struggling with 2 hospital trips. My asthma nurse suggested swapping to fostair 100/6, but that I shouldn't need my ventolin anymore and I should go back to the GP if I still have symptoms after 5 days.
