Persistant Asthma Symptoms
Hi Everyone, This is my 3rd week of having bad asthma symptoms and I am at my wits end!! I have been prescribed steroids and two lots of antibiotics, have been told to increase my seretide inhaler from 2 puffs per time to 4 puffs per time. I am still suffering, but, my peak flow has increased a bit.

Red sores in corner of mouth
I have just changed my seretide 125 to a seretide 250 accuhaler. I have been troubled by sores in the corner of my mouth which just don't seem to heal. They are red, sometimes split and sometimes get crusty. After much searching on the web I came across a site which said they were caused by steroid inhalers

Hey, I've been started on Spiriva (tiotropium) by my consultant, and I've got a few questions about it which I didnt get chance to ask my con (as my appointment had ran over by way too long), and was wondering if anyone could help; 1) Is spiriva the same as atovant? and if so does that mean I can't

Seretide and cramps
I take 3 puffs seretide (250) twice daily and have cramps in my feet and legs especially at night. Someone has told me that it's because of the seretide. Is this true?

Newbie Advice please
Hi, I did post a similar message to this a few days ago but got no reply so am hoping I'll be luckier this time. I'll try to make it briefer and clearer. I was diagnosed with Asthma this summer after having problems for about a year. I kept getting worse and the medication just wasn't working. Finally

Does anyone else take amitriptyline and Symbicort together?
Sorry if this is an inappropriate question.... I am probably being really paranoid but on the information leaflet, for Symbicort, it says to use with caution if you take amitriptyline. I have been using a 10mg dose to help me sleep for a while and am also on Symbicort recently changed from Seretide.

Oral Steroids and weight gain...
Hi everyone, I'm new here and this is my first post - so hope I'm getting this right! I'd like some advice and I'm guessing this is a medical post since it relates to medication. My asthma's been fairly well controlled (not taken more than 125 of seretide and occasional salbutamol) since childhood

CHICKENPOX
This is probably me being neurotic but being on a high dose of inhaled steroids. (250 seretide 2 puffs twice daily at moment - usually 4 puffs twice daily reducing when possible through winter when I usually get viruses. Plus a months worth of 30mg pred last winter). I am worried about catching chickenpox
