Home pulse oximetry and sats down to 93%
Hello everyone, It's been a long time since I've been on the forum for help - must be a good sign! Anyway, my son (6 years old) has seemed a bit not quite right today - not at all lethargic but a bit naughty and a bit clingyish. His appetitive has been poor but no temp, and didn't externally appear

Seretide and bruising easily
Hi, I am new on here. I have been taking Seretide 250 for about 7 years with no complications. But for the last year or so I have been bruising really easily, especially on my legs. Something that would have once caused a temporary red mark now causes a dark blue bruise which takes 2 weeks to go. I notice

Asthma meds linked to depression?
My asthma medication was changed from seretide to symbicort last November. I am also on Singulair and whilst overall this has helped the management of my asthma I am wondering if anyone else has experienced low mood whilst being on Symbicort.I am experiencing this at the moment and whilst I can identify

GP restrictions on inhalers
I have been to the GP today to collect a repeat prescription for a fluticasone inhaler (Flixotide) to be told the practice does not prescribe these any more. The receptionist passed on the message from a doctor saying that they had received new ""guidelines"" that only mixed inhalers containing fluticasone

New to asthma and the boards and would like to know, is anyone else rattling?!
Hello! I just thought I'd introduce myself and say hi - I've been lurking for a bit as a guest and this seems like a lovely community. I was diagnosed with asthma about a year ago (after many years of worsening chest infections and then a cough that wouldn't go away and was so severe I broke a rib)

Seretide & sore throats!
So I've had a horrible couple of weeks with lungs firmly on the picket lines and have basically had all my medication changed. I was taking symbicort but it looks like the lactose in it was causing problems so I've been changed onto Seretide had my Telfast dose upped and had cetirizine added as well

Just fed up
I know we all have times when things just get to us but I'm well and truely fed up. Anybody got any good suggestions? I have been suffering for just over 2 years now and am up to chest infection number 16 over this period of time. Just before this I had an operation to have an extra rib removed from

Possible next steps?
I'm planning to see my GP next week, so just looking for some advice so I can be prepared for what she might suggest. I'm currently on 2 puffs seretide 250 twice a day, fexofenadine and nasonex. Tried singulair last year and it didn't work. Have had a few courses of prednisolone and antibiotics over
