I use my nebuliser at least 4 times a day with saline or Salbutamol 2.5ml dose's which take approximately 5 minutes to administer, During a 3 day stay in hospital I couldn't help but notice how much slower it was to get the same dose of medication from their machine, upto 20 minutes.

As soon as I had received about 100ccs of normal saline, before he could even administer any meds, my heartbeat pattern on the monitor returned to a normal sinus rhythm and stayed that way all the way to the hospital.

I also used saline, salbutamol and Atrovent nebs, and my Airphysio to clear my lungs. A friend’s GP had recommended taking Citirizine, an anti-histamine so I agreed that with my own GP too. It seems that the body’s immune system over-reacts and that is what causes the exhaustion etc.

I'm taking colomycin nebuliser twice a day, azithromycin 5 times a week at the moment, reducing to usual 3 times from the middle of February, saline nebuliser, Carbocisteine 2 tablets 3 times a day. Any suggestions would be welcome! Hope everyone is safe and well, take care!

I have just been prescribed 7%hypertonic saline to help with Bronchiectasis. Is this ok to use with the face mask on the nebuliser. It is very salty so not keen on using the mouthpiece.

In 2020 I asked the nurse practitioner about having a nebuliser and she said I'm no where needing one, but I've decided to try it and see if it helps, I will just be using saline solution. Has anyone found nebulisers to be helpful when they have infections would love to know.

I was again on drip with IV liquid mixed in saline. I was given some food and medicines. I was lying on bed for next 3hrs. I got my medicines, prescription and instructions for post-op. I drive my car for 1hr without any problem and reached home safely.

I am using steri-mar daily (saline water) but it’s not enough to stop the headaches. I am on the waiting list to see ENT. I have asked for antibiotics but the doctor says these will not work. I am grateful for any other advice or insight as I am really miserable with these headaches. Thank you x
