Roflumilast

Dear all, I just wanted to let all of you with severe COPD that I was given the opportunity last year, March 2022 to start this medication, Roflimilast. I had to request the outpatient appointment to be able to bring the possibility of being prescribed it. HealthUnlocked It wasn’t even mentioned to me

Does anyone use this medication and if so, how is it going?

Is anyone else taking this medication? If you are how is it going ? Is it helpful ? Do you experience any side effects ? I have been on it a few months and think it is helping….. though will be pleased to hear about anyone else who is on it.

Does anybody have information regarding the use of Roflumilast. My local health authority does not appear to prescribe this drug. It is approved in Coventry & Warwickshire.

My weight having increased somewhat, and being unable to decrease it no matter how little l eat.A consultant who will not prescribe Roflumilast (known to have a side effect of weight loss) because my COPD is the wrong kind.

Has anyone got some pros or cons on thaking DALIRESP (roflumilast)? Just started the low dose....

With names like Roflumilast indicated for severe copd. She said she would ask about it and a year later I'm still waiting. I'm not sure if the cost has anything to do with it but they should at least let us try it.

Does anyone in this group use Daliresp (or roflumilast)? If so, what side effects have you experienced and do you feel it has helped ward off flare-ups? Just prescribed this and concerned about the long list of side effects, even tho I know that all possibilities, even remote, are listed.

Has anyone any experience of using Roflumilast? I know that it is not "licensed" as a prescription drug in Britain unless you are taking part in a clinical trial, but is used in Europe and America.
