Does anybody have information regarding the use of Roflumilast. My local health authority does not appear to prescribe this drug. It is approved in Coventry & Warwickshire.

Not heard of that one. I take Montelukast which is an anti-inflammatory, a leukotrine antagonist I think (whatever that means!) Is it similar?

I am not sure at all, but I think you are right, I am keeping finngers crossed SOMETHING works lol

Why can’t you get it prescribed? Don’t tell me - cost?!

I’m in a similar situation with another drug. Consultant wants me to have it but health authority says no. They’d prefer to pay for my expensive hospital admissions & regular courses of IV antibiotics instead, even tho the drug would be much cheaper

I have just been prescribed Roflumilast, I would be very interested in peoples experience of it. I believe it is VERY expensive, so maybe your health authority are cutting back?
