Multiple system atrophy and hydrogen

As someone who benefits from nasal salt sprays and nasal irrigation with a Neti pot and salt for common cold and sinus symptoms, I was very interested to read this: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/health/coronavirus-salt-water-gargle-symptoms-university-edinburgh-study-a9583136.html It might help

Salamol
Hi everyone I normally use Salbutamol (as well as Seretide 250) but I found a Salamol easy-breathe inhaler in a drawer last week I got last year. Used it for a few days instead of my usual Ventolin but stopped as I developed a wheezy chest which is unusual for me and also had trouble sleeping last night

Inhalers to be reduced!!!
Just returned from Annual asthma review- slightly confused.!! I am an Elite Master competitive swimmer 59 yrs and clock some 36km per week. I've been informed that my usage of Salamol and Clenil apparently are being looked at. !!! My explanation regarding the necessity to use them prior to training

Fostair and Spiolta
Hi Everyone, I was ill during Christmas and January and the nurses at my local surgery were very good. After two packs of Doxycyline, they put me on double Doxycyline (Unfortunately, I can't have amoxcillin any more) and oral steroids. However, the respiratory nurse decided to put me on Fostair as

Hydroxichloroquin & Toxic Retinitis
Hi As most of you know that the Opthamologist at the Eye Infirmary told me that I have toxic
Retinitis
. I unexpectantly had to attend another visual fields test today and I feel more positive that the results will be better today & so did the nurse.

Hydroxichloroquin Side effects
Hi You may remember back in July, I mentioned that I was to have test for possible Toxic
Retinitis
. I saw a Consultant from the Macular department on Friday, where my worst fears were confirmed. I definitely do have Toxic
Retinitis
as a result of long term use of Hydroxichloroquin.

More Breathless
This is going to sound daft. I have been taking the Seretide 125 inhaler for 6 days now and I have a Salamol inhaler for when needed. I actually feel more out of breath than before I was diagnosed. I catch my breath when talking, I used to be able to walk for miles on the flat, now I am struggling

CBD Oil for Parkinsonâs
CBD doesnât have the psychoactive benefits of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), cannabisâs more famous cannabinoid. It does, however, have other potentially beneficial effects. https://www.healthline.com/health/parkinsons-disease/cbd-oil-for-parkinsons

Referral to respiratory?
Over the last 6 months my asthma has become uncontrollable. I'm currently on fostair 200, salamol reliever, antihistamines, steroids and montelukast. I'm taking my reliever 6-10 time every 30-60 minutes day and night. I'm back at my GPS Tuesday and they said if it's not improved with this latest course

Alpha 1 antitrypsin question please
Hi- can anyone help? My GP recently requested a blood test for alpha-1 antitrypsin due to some wheezing I have, and a strong family history of COPD. The blood test that was carried out was Serum protein electrophoresis, which came back normal. I asked the GP if A1AT is included in that and she said yes

Flare up
Hi guys. So luckily my asthma has been well managed for that past 10 years. Only had a reliever and that was a Bricanyl. Last year I had a flare up when they changed me from Bricanyl to Salamol and had to put me back on a preventative (clenil). That didnât work so they put me on the Fostsir 100/6. All

Seretide v Sirdupla
Anyone else having bad reactions to Sirdupla? It's giving me breathing difficulties and a chesty cough. Checked the ingredients and discovered that the manufacturer has added Ethanol to the Sirdupla. As home made wine gave me my first serious asthma attacks, I am making that link. Was fine with Seretide

Constant Nasal Congestion
40 days on imbruvica, labs better but continued issues with upper respiratory congestion. Drainage always clear but constant. I was suggested to try flonase and it worked great for 6 days only. Any other advice would be great! Thanks.

Is anyone on Essential Oils for W&W?
Folks around here are getting into essential oils... I've rolled on immune therapy for my swollen neck gland, and it seemed to help some... but I have a sore throat and cough that has hung on... I'd been on Claritin for a year and it did help... but I've read of test results that Claritin and Xanax
