WHAT COULD IT BE ?
I have bad dyskinesia again. There are a couple of thing I can think of As it the holiday period my GP, NEURO and PDN have all took the same 2 weeks off . which isn't good news . Any way my question is this would stopping Clonazepam give me in voluntary movement or low battery's in my DBS. Can

Pisa syndrome and DBS
Has anyone had “Pisa syndrome”(leaning to the side) and then had the deep brain stimulation surgery? If so what effect did the surgery have on the leaning? I’ve had PD for six plus years, and heretofore had only minor symptoms, including no tremors. Then, about six months ago, I developed this “list

Gonna Do DBS in September (I think)
With a lot of encouragement and offers of care and assistance from my soon-to-be ex-wife, my sisters, my brothers, and more than a few doctors, I've decided to undergo DBS surgery in September. And as I sit here in my hot, dirty little apartment, hungry and bored kittens swatting my ankles as I shuffle

post DBS
Several months have passed since I had deep stimulation of my brain. I ‘ve lost some in my speech but overall big improvements have been my gain. I can walk – almost run- like I have not been able to do in quite a few years, I am not freezing, stumbling, have no back aches and very few falling

Had viral meningitis? Help us understand the real impact. Please take part in our survey >
We are conducting an online survey to find out more about viral meningitis and the impact it has on people’s lives. Calls to our helpline and experiences shared on health unlocked suggest that many people are experiencing long term problems after viral meningitis, but little is understood about it by

Tinnitus! Anyone else developed tinnitus as a result of chemo?
I was warned that cisplatin could cause hearing damage and, true enough I developed tinnitus! It comes and goes but today it is bad!

Mirapex 6 mg patch
Med problems can't get enough or the right combo to stop the freezing . I had DBS implants April 10 2012, yes it is still being adjusted I live 2 1/2 hrs. from the clinic and just started using a 6 mg patch I m fairly sure this is working because I know without my Mirapex I don't walk, then I take 2

A good day so far?
I've managed to go shopping with my partner! (Hooray!) To be honest though, I only made the entrance to Morrisons but I managed Asda Living, Tescos, Farm Foods and Home Bargains. Started in Farm Foods, and I was dizzy but kept doing my deep breaths, pulse was a bit fast. Managed to get around
