PA and proctitis
My mom was diagnosed with PA awhile back and has struggled with proctitis for some time. Is there any connection? Anyone else experience this? Did B12 injections help?

Fluttering feeling on my upper right side
I am a male, 36 years old, fit (on the skinny side). I started drinking when I was about 18. I would go out with friends and we would get pretty drunk on the week ends. I couldn’t tell how much we drank really, it varied a lot, sometimes it was just a few beers and sometimes it was a lot more. The frequency

Is Fatty Liver considered as Liver Damage?
Is fatty liver also considered as alcoholic liver damage? or is the advanced stages of fibrosis and cirrhosis considered as alcoholic liver damage. I'm trying to figure out what stage I'm at since I was diagnosed with Alcoholic Liver Damage and Anxiety in January. The GP did not tell anything else or

I have cirrhosis and the ongoing stuff with it. I was on Omeprazole and Spironolactone. Told I was on it for life. No problem. But after a recent gastroscopy I was put on Carvedilol. I had dreadful side effects. Plummeting blood pressure and no appetite. I have barely eaten for over a week. I have spoken

Fluctuating liver enzyme results.
Hi, I had a blood test which came back with high GGT >400 and ALT >200 over two weeks ago. Had results from a blood test on Monday today and (thankfully) my GGT is down to 285 and my ALT is 74 which is great! I’m booked in for another blood test in 3 weeks time and I’m also waiting for an ultra sound

Curious about my Mild fatty Liver score?
Hi Guys, I'd 'overdone' the old social drinking for many years, typically 30-40 units a week depending on what was on, some weeks of course within the normal recommended range. I turned 28, Jan of this year. After some worrying symptoms, I bit the bullet and got a set of blood tests - normal, followed

GGT levels ?? Worried 😟
Hi, wondering if anyone can help. I’ve been experiencing pain in the upper right quadrant and an upset tummy with lots of wind. I have a referral to a gastro consultant and he scheduled a blood test to to check for inflammatory markers before I see him. My liver enzyme I think it’s GGT is 400. The GP

Moral Support
I am new to the forum and have advance alcohol liver cirrhosis. Its compensated at the moment but I am fearful this will deteriorate. I have not drunk for just over 2 weeks and am now in regular contact with my GP and Hospital. I am looking for moral support.

Recurring Hepatic Encephalopathy
Hello everyone, it’s been a while since I posted and I hope everyone is staying encouraged and strong on your journey. I wrote last year about my brother and his Ascites and cirrhosis diagnosis. Well, it has not been easy the past 4 months. He is currently having repeated hepatic encephalopathy episodes
