Hi Guys,
I'd 'overdone' the old social drinking for many years, typically 30-40 units a week depending on what was on, some weeks of course within the normal recommended range. I turned 28, Jan of this year.
After some worrying symptoms, I bit the bullet and got a set of blood tests - normal, followed by an Ultrascan - normal, and finally a Fibroscan: CAP 233, kPa 3.8.
I was relieved at the kPa score, but the CAP score is apparently indicative of a mild fatty liver.
Just wondering if anyone has had a similar CAP score and managed to bring this down.
Should mention since I had the concerns in mid-December 2020, I've had no alcohol whatsoever.
Appreciate nobody on here is a medical expert, just looking for similar stories.
Thanks
Steve
