HRT and Levothyroxine
I have been stable on175ugs levo for the last few years, and I have also been taking HRT. I have had to stop the HRT prior to a THR and wondered if this could make a difference to me regarding my thyroid levels. TIA

New to T3, advice please
Hello there, help please! Results listed below....I have always been symptomatic with Hashimoto's, diagnosed 2019. Was on just levo for years but after DIO2 testing and conversion rate of t4 to t3 being low I was started on a trial of T3 in march 2023. I always have blood testing between 8am and 9am.

Looking for a private doctor in London
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's a couple of weeks ago. The first blood test showed TSH - 19.30 / T4 - 9.4. No vitamin test was done, just regular bloods and TFT. I am 36 years old male with BMI around 30-31 so my GP put me on 100mcg Levothyroxine (Boots-Accord kind). I should mention that

starting T3/T4
Hi all I’m about to add T3 to Levo. I’m currently on 100levo and have been prescribed 50 Levo with 2x5 T3 per day. When is best to take the T3? One in the morning with the Levo and one around 12 hours later? Can it be taken near food etc? Any tips and positive experiences would be gratefully received

Thyroid, Cortisol And Sodium Question
Hi All, Got my latest results and it's a bit messy. I got off NDT 1,5 grains and switched to 88 mcg of levo, my old levo I was on before. Prior to that, I was on 75/88 mcg, alternating. So I increased and now re-checked my bloods after 8 weeks. Btw, I'm well versed in everything recommended here

TSH results -sudden change -aberant high reading of 17.5
Over the past year or so, I have slowly been reducing levothyroxine under medical supervision in progressive steps of 25mmg from 125mmg down to 50mmg . I am male and nearly 75 years of age. After a 10 weeks interval of consistently taking 50 mmg to stabalise my metabolism, I received my TSH test

Symptoms….I’m confused
Hi, grateful if people can throw some light please? My bloods (previously posted here) point to hypo BUT I don’t have the slow pulse and if anything it races in the mornings before I get out of bed. Also races when I do very little though think that’s because I’m so exhausted! I have a list of symptoms

Test Results
I had tests done at Monitor my Health which have come back without ranges on so I’ve had to guess. I did the tests as you’ve advised in the past. So: TSH 0.01 FT4 12.2 FT3 5.0 My endo is aware of the low TSH. I’ve been feeling dreadful for a while now and seeing the doctor tomorrow

GP Consultation
Well, I had my f2f GP consultation today and I was pleasantly surprised by his reaction. All bloods were within range (?) and there was no other cause for concern although there was no T4 or T3 test, only TSH. I went ready for a battle armed with various printouts but thankfully it wasn’t needed as

I cannot lose weight. I managed fine for years on Adkins diet then suddenly, in 2000 or so I started gaining wight from 120lbs. to 185 lbs!
For years I managed my weight fine with Adkins diet (low carb). Sometime around 2000 my general practitioner discovered I was hypothyroid & prescribed Levo (don't remember the amount). I was doing fine, but suddenly, in 2016 I began gaining weight for no reason at all!!! I am now up to 185 lbs.!!

Endo consultation today for low TSH

My GP referred me (thanks, NOT) because he wants to further reduce my levo from 125mcg to 100mcg. I'm the daft beggar that also takes 18.75 liothyronine by importing

Change of brand of Levothyroxine, Should I be worried.
I picked up my prescription today from my Pharmacy and after being on Mercury Pharma since the summer when I first started it, now they have given me the brand accord. I have been feeling better than I have for years, back to my old self again. Should I be worried now that the brand has been changed

pharmacy robots!
I’ve just been to collect my meds from my local pharmacy. I need to avoid Teva which they know, but this time the 25mcg levo was Teva. They kindly changed it in store but explained that in future they won’t be able to offer/avoid specific brands as all meds will be picked by a robot! Their only advice
