Not so much memory loss but certainly a bit of a fog and I’ve slowed down a little. Not sure if it’s the Ranexa but can’t blame it on anything else except I’m getting older now. 69.

Yes I’ve noticed this too. I’m on 700mg per day. I even tried missing the odd one as also affecting sleep and definitely reduced energy levels. Been on it for over 6 months now.

Thankyou for replying. My gp advised me that if the memory loss continues,or gets worse, he will stop the medication. I take it along side channel blockers. Do you?

I’m on quite a lot of meds. I was on amlodopine as well until about 3 weeks ago. GP has temporarily stopped that due to swelling of ankle and other issues. I’m also on ivabradine, ramipril, isosorbide mononitrate, clopidogrel, aspirin, lansoprazole. Was on statins but had to be stopped because of adverse effects. It’s a lottery !

Hello,I've been taking Ranexa for a couple of months and can't say I've noticed any memory loss but will keep an eye open for that. I'm in my late 60s so my memory is not what is was! However, I have noticed slower urinary flow , which may be coincidental or not, but I'm now going through prostate checks. Has anyone else experienced that?

All the best,

Hello glad I found this post I’m on ranolazine for last few weeks as outcome of recent angiogram (In addition to existing meds). And I too find I am forgetting things within matter of seconds. Mid sentence Sometimes when speaking but I was experiencing some of this before. Find my mind feels a tad blank. But hearing others experience makes me feel (bizarrely) “normal”. Thank you for the posts.
