0% potassium ketchup
Hi, been away for a while, but have a quick question. Our Kroger grocery store sells a Kroger brand ketchup that has 50% less sodium and zero potassium. Can I trust this label? How can ketchup (made from tomatoes) be zero potassium?

Hints and tips to get 7 year old to take sodium picosulfate (stimulant).
We’re just starting disimpaction process and have a very fussy child. I’m pretty sure he’ll hate the picosulfate and just wondered how people were administering this. What can I use that’s not juice to disguise the taste?

Blood tests = Can of Worms. Anaemia or Hyperthyroidism? B12 & Serum Folate too low or OK? Other results all over the place! Any ideas?
Hi All, I have no idea what any of this means, but even I know some of it looks skewiffy! A couple of the results were flagged by the test itself; these are RDW and MCHC which may relate to thyroid function. Also the Serum Folate and B12 look a bit low so may be affecting my thyroid too. Are you able

Worrying upper abdomen pain
Hello, this is my first post and I am a little nervous about it. Where do I begin? I was diagnosed with Diverticular problems 20 years ago. I had upper abdomen pain and urgent diarrhoea at the time. PSA shooting up and Oncologist says we’ve run out of options.
I asked about other treatments such as
radium

, Olaparib, and everything else on the NCCN list but it was a no to everything. I honestly can’t remember the specifics of that conversation as I think my brain melted after hearing the words ‘there’s nothing else’.

Update
Sorry all for not posting in a while. I am a high school counselor and we have been on summer break. I have been doing some mini renovations around my house, traveling and honestly getting caught up on sleep and family time from the craziness of the last year and a half. I went to my GP last week

Hello everyone. I've "lurked" on here since my husband was diagnosed with severe liver disease in March 2021. He gave up alcohol the day he was admitted to hospital and I'm so proud of him for sticking with it determinedly. We're 4 months on and he's been through several ascitic drains, feeling terrible

Zytiga did not Work - Chemo or RA 223 Next
Since I have only bone mets, he recommended
Radium

or chemo - 6 to 10 sessions. I am very interested if any of you have faced this cross road and what you decided and how it worked? As always - thank you. Tom

Low stomach acid tests
I asked some questions about B12 and Diarrhoea here: https://healthunlocked.com/pasoc/posts/145437733/vit-b12-and-diarrhoea Some people came back suggesting that low stomach acid (hypochlorhydria or achlorhydria) is a cause of stomach acid. I did the sodium bicarbonate "burp" test and it seems I might

Pre screening for the clinical trial. I didn't know what I didn't know.
Considering I am at this crossroads, I am thinking
radium
223
might be a better option, I have some bone pain and the last bone scan showed no new progression. I could stay on the current path or do another round of chemo, or
radium
223
. Then one or the other treatment. Any thoughts

Struggling with symptoms
Hello everyone. I am new to the group but not new to systemic mastocytosis. My skin is fairly stable although am covered with the mastocytosis rash it is generally ok. However my gastric problems are escalating at the moment. I ran out of sodium cromoglycate when there was a shortage and was off them

I am not sure whether it was the consequence of my application of reverse psychology or my-on the whole-affable GP suddenly having an epiphany, but the last couple of telephone consultations that I’ve had, have been quite constructive. I did however have to collect all the toys that were left littered

Curios
With 15% of kidneys working, can you go off the rails once in a GREAT while and have cheese pizza, fish and chips or fried chicken strips, or low sodium potato chips, maybe a BLT. The answer is probably no, but hope that once in a blue moon is okay.
