PSA: How low should it go?
It turns out that the
radiotherapy
you performed was very successful. Thanks a lot. When I come to Turkey I will thank you properly. My last measured test level PSA 0.007. Is this a pretty good result? And
radiotherapy
still works and can further reduce PSA.

Talk to a Radio Oncologist
I had a Telehealth video meeting with a Radio Oncologist yesterday at the suggestion from my Oncologist. What I learnt from the RO, was that chemo is used primarily to kill the microscopic cancer cells which are moving around my body. This hopefully will prevent other tumours from forming in other organs

PSA: “How low should it go“ ?
My last measured test level PSA 0.007ng/ml And
radiotherapy
still works and can further reduce PSA. Now I take an eligard which also lowers the PSA. I have an idea to start taking Casodex 150 for a double blockade.

Diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer 2016.
Since then I have been taking CBD oil and Essiac tincture everyday and haven't had any surgery, chemo or
radiotherapy
. My oncologist expected my PSA to continually rise and the mets to spread.

Xtandi failed suggested Zytiga
I posted the other day that the Xtandi did not work and my one oncologist suggested we give Zytiga a shot even though she said the chances of it working were 20 to 30%. She also sent me to a Radiation oncologist who reviewed my case about using target radiation therapy. He told me that the radiation

Have to make a decision next week
Hello (again!) My father is recurrent G9, discovered in May 2020 when his PSA rose to 0,24 (he has always had low PSA). Scan shower two small bone mets in iliac and pelvic bone. He started only radiation in June to prostate bed + mets. At this time I was worried if we should start with ADT or not. Beginning

New on here
Her scan shortly after finishing
radiotherapy
showed a reduction in the tumour by 22mm (almost half). The doctor said that it's excellent news. The doctors also seem so surprised that my mum looks so well for her age and is in such good shape (she turns 71 on Sunday). My mum is doing really well.

PSA rising
His first oncologist (let’s call her OC1) asked for PSMA scans and suggested we for
radiotherapy
. Her plan was to
stop Bicalutamide
during the radiation therapy and
start with Abiraterone
soon after

A biochemical definition of cure after brachytherapy for prostate cancer - Radiotherapy and Oncology, Published: April 27, 2020
Looks like 4 years of <0.2 PSA post-treatment gets you a "biochemical cure". (= disease-free beyond 10 years.)
Study Highlights • Close to 80% of men 4–5 years after LDR prostate brachytherapy will achieve a PSA of 0.2 ng/ml or less. • PSA ≤ 0.2 ng/ml is associated with 97–99%

Has anyone changed from letrozole & ibrance to tamoxifen after progression of tumors?
Oncologist has suggested
radiotherapy
for the new tumor (she had 2 days ago and so far so good) and a change of meds to tamoxifen (she had after first treatment for breast cancer 11yrs ago!) just wondering if tamoxifen will help slow the tumors? Has anyone has this experience?
