zoladex 3.6mg injection
Hi, I will be having
radiotherapy
in about 3/4 weeks I’ve had a course of Bicalutamide 150mg tablets and I’m having a monthly zoladex injection in my stomach, had my second shot 2 days ago and I feel tired, headaches and hot sweats, any body had issues with this?

Questions to ask my Urologist after salvage radiation treatments completed
After completing an 8-week course of salvage radiation treatment consisting of 40 sessions, I'd like to discuss my current status with my Urologist during an upcoming appointment. What specific questions should I ask during this visit? He is a good surgeon; however, he does not offer much information

Alternate prostate treatment
I saw a brief article in the current AARP magazine. Wondering if this is accurate: “In a recent study of 115 midlife and older men with low- to intermediate-risk prostate cancer who had their prostate gland completely treated via TULSA-Pro (ultrasound heat), 96 percent of participants saw their PSA

As some of you read my moms 15-3 marker went up from 163 to 332. She’s been on her new combo for 7 weeks. Everolimus and Faslodex . She finished a five day radiation treatment to the leg in her bone on Sept. 29th and then they did a tumor marker 20 days later and it had almost doubled . This is

Need advice.
Need advice. I had prostectomy in February of 2020, then radiation therapy a year later as PSA rose. Now PSA is 1.23 and the oncologist now is recommending beginning Lupron injections. Would welcome any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks.

Now for something completely different
Monday, when you probably will see this post. Crack of dawn. I will be on my way to University Hospital London for a Radical Prostatectomy on Weds. Yes, I've had to learn a new lexicon of terms and medical knowledge. Whilst for the last few months I have been an observer of comments and post rather

And I thought I had a full plate-
Well we went in today for his fourth pluvicto dose. Went mostly well but he’s been weak lately and had a few bumps in the road but that’s a story for another day. While I was waiting I met two other people who were getting treatments. One was getting his first pluvicto dose today. The second one

"late toxicity" issues when dealing with radiation therapies.
SBRT seems like it has good results comparable to a Prostectomy, and better for side effects initially but I worry about the "late toxicity" issues when dealing with radiation therapies. From what I read, side effects can start appearing even years afterwards. Having a prostectomy, at least you get it

looking for advice.
Martin had
radiotherapy
in October 2020 to lymph nodes in the pelvic area. He was also put on ADT for 6 months. PSA dropped to <0.05 and stayed undetectable until August 2021 when it rose to 0.13. We were told not to worry. Bloods in Feb 2022 showed PSA was 8.63 and 7 days later 11.

I wonder if anyone knows why or has experienced a rise on PSA level (from 70 to 274), 6 months after radiation therapy (VMAT x 26 sessions)?
Before and after radiation therapy, dad was taking Bicalutamide 50 mg and Alfuzosin50 mg together with a quarterly Leuprorelin injection. This month (October), after receiving his Leuprorelin injection, Urologist advised to stop taking Bicalutamide as it is no longer effective due to hormone resistance
