New inhaler
I have recently started Qvar and Wondered if anyone else is on it and suffer any side effects? Two mornings now I have woken up & noticed my right hand is swollen and today the right side of my face too. It goes down after moving around a little bit I wondered if it is due to the new inhaler. Can anyone

Steroids through a nebuliser
Hey, At my last consultants apt a couple of weeks ago I was given steroids to have through my nebuliser twice a day (in addition to fostair, qvar and oral steroids) he said whilst I was there I may as well have the salbutamol and ipatropium at those times as well (instead of using them as needed).

Streptococcus Pneumonia - Any experiences?
Hello Has anyone had this infection that can share their experience? I have never had chest problems in my life then suddenly this summer I developed a horrible wheeze, it progressively got worse, coughing, tightness and feeling very unwell. I was initially given ventolin and told it’s probably hayfever

Fostair MART action plan
After 20yrs on Qvar for maintenance (50mcg twice daily) and salbutamol as a reliever, I had my first major asthma attack in September after which my maintenance inhaler was changed to Fostair 100/6. I also learned of the existence of asthma action plans at that time and have found the one I went home

Trouble breathing
Hi 😊 Does anyone else have trouble breathing when they're laying down? Not in a breathless/panting kind of way, it's more like the air I'm taking in isn't inflating my lungs properly? My lungs are affected by my lupus, very sensitive to changes in my steroid dose (which hasn't changed for a few months

ADHD and Asthma Medication
Hi Everyone, I have a question about asthma medication. My son started taking Qvar last November because his insurance would no longer cover Flovent. In January or February of last year, his ADHD symptoms (ie, outbursts and aggressive behavior) started to show up. Just by chance, I was researching
