Experiences with

Quinsy

My last blood in April was all normal, this was the very first in 20 years to be completely normal. 20 years ago I was put onto 120mg of thyroxin after a bout of quinsy along with an intense and stressful year along with a 50lb weight gain.

Only other things I can guess from research is throat infection, quinsy or chlamydia!?!? Haha thank you so much in advance!

First infection was tonsillitis then quinsy over Christmas and New Year.

What I want to add is this, I've always been an ill person , I don't get a sore throat I used to get tonsillitis that then led to quinsy, 3/4 times a year , so I had my tonsils out, I've had two major kidney infections that's been an emergency and been admitted to hospital for a week at a time, I've

I was in hospital over Christmas with a quinsy throat and a throw away comment was made about having glandular fever previously. Since then I have not been feeling well and have only recently returned to work on a phased return, but am even struggling with this.

Couple of other points: my tonsils have been removed after having Quinsy some years ago and I have also had bad sinuses from allergies for some years but to be honest they've seemed clearer at the moment than they have been in many years.

Im having a lot of trouble with constant coughs, ear ache on one side and recurring tonsilitis + quinsy but not sure if this s anything to do with the lupus/CTD. Has anyone e else got throat problems.?
