Qelbree

Has anyone else experienced this (weight gain on Qelbree)?

My 12 yr old Son has been on Qelbree for like 9 months. I’ve seen a huge improvement. He is also on a stimulate and 5mg Abilify. Since adding Qelbree we successfully weaned him off SSRI. Cheers 🥂 Anyway my question is how does Qelbree make you FEEL?

My son is 7 and he hasn't been able to take guanfacine, clonodine (hallucinations), stimulants (too much reactivity and anxiety) and now we are on to qelbree. About to try qelbree Tell me about side effects with qelbree and if it helps with explosiveness and typical adhd symtpoms

Stimulants are not good since it contradicts my medical history (so he says) and non stimulants like Strattera and Qelbree exacerbates my RLS (restless leg syndrome) condition and tinnitus.

hello yesterday my dr prescribed Qelbree I can not take stimulants the side effects . Anyone tried this .

who has taken qelbree and what side effects did you notice? Did it help your child who has mild depression and adhd? he doesn’t have suicidal ideation, and I feel like a mind a ease will head down that road who I want to have him journal and vent as he does now. did qelbree help at all?

Hi all, I wanted to ask if anyone has tried the new non-stimulant Qelbree? I have been navigating finding the right ADHD medication for me for the past year. I feel like I start a medication and it works great but then it looses its strength or it has side effects.

She is suggesting additional neuropsych testing to confirm the correct diagnoses and that starting stimulants may actually worsen his anxiety, sleep disturbances, and picky eating and so SSRI therapy (zoloft) or SNRI (strattera or qelbree) may be better options.

He’s on Qelbree and clonidine. He sees a psychiatrist and a just started with a new child psychologist. The first month of school was ok, then something changed and he did not want to go to school. Said everyone is mean to him. He stopped doing his work, and got failing grades in 2 classes.

He is currently taking 150mg of Qelbree in the morning and 2mg of Guanfacine in the evening -- but it's not doing anything productive. Further, the next step we are told is to have family therapy for us and him but the next appointment isn't until the Fall.

Our new psychiatrist just added Qelbree to her Vyvanse. Does anyone have experience with Qelbree? From what I hear it is relatively new and has strong antidepressant qualities.

He is taking a non-stimulant medication called Qelbree along with Accenture vitamins. I don't see him "progressing" the way I would like and am trying to figure out what else we can do for him.

Psych NP is adding in a low dose of Qelbree to the Guanfacine 2mg ER that our son already takes (had weird increase in vocal tics and hyperactivity with upping to 3mg ER). Has anyone used these in combo and had success?

Anyone else out there have a kid who feels very tired when starting Qelbree? My teen started it and actually fell asleep in the locker room before hockey practice. I'm wondering if this side effect will go away as he continues to take the medication.

I was wondering if something like Qelbree might be better for him but the side effects are making me really skeptical. Would love to hear what your experience has been with this medicaion. thank you!

- Meds were given at 7:30AM alongside the Guanfacine 2mg ER and Zoloft 50mg + Qelbree 100mg (first week titration). - Going to deliver at bedtime tonight and see if it mitigates the insomnia. Any insight? Help? Anything from someone who is further down the road?

Psychiatrist just prescribed Qelbree which ill be starting this weekend. I am not confident of it working as its mechanism of action is norepinephrinergic plus its got significant BP side effects.

What experience have you had with non stimulant medication such as Qelbree, Guanfacine, Clonidine, Bupropion?
