Qelbree - tired?

Anyone else out there have a kid who feels very tired when starting Qelbree? My teen started it and actually fell asleep in the locker room before hockey practice. I'm wondering if this side effect will go away as he continues to take the medication. As for now I've stopped it because I'd rather he wait til Christmas break to since he's going to be tired. I'd love to hear if anyone else has had this experience because if it doesn't stop we're def not going forward with this medication. Ty!

yes! My son was a zombie. He would take 3 hour naps and be in a very deep sleep. It never got better. We had to stop it.

My son was on it and he would sleep 24 hours a day if I let him while he was on it. He did about 2 months of it and it never got better so we had to stop. There's a Facebook group dedicated to qelbree that was helpful.

My 6 yr old daughter was super tired in the beginning with it. She’s been on it since early August and that side effect has disappeared. It just took awhile to adjust.
