PVC and Alcohol
Hi guys, I have PVCs and some ectopic beats from my upper heart as well. I was told to never drink caffeine or alcohol again because of these factors... I’m only 23. Does anyone with a similar situation follow those rules? I usually only have a handful of the ectopics and PVCs a day but on occasion

Increasing copd fev1 results
Hi, I'm new to this site and have been diagnosed to have copd. My fev1 test on: March 2017 44% January 2018 55% December 2018 59% Is it normal for it to rise so? I'm worried that the original diagnoses is sound. Has anyone got any thoughts on this please, I would be grateful.

My ablation experience
Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent ablation experience as I know there are others who have upcoming procedures and still others who are deciding whether or not to go the ablation route to address their arrhythmias. Since I found the experiences of others helpful in my own decision making and coping

PVC’s
Anyone got any good advice to reduce PVCs - mine are horrific at the moment - had constant for a week now - around 10-15 a minute. I have cardiomyopathy - hence the issue - but the PVCs are like never before at the minute - mainly when I’m resting sand my heart is lower than 65bpm Any experiences that

Does inflammation continue in copd even years after stopping smoking?
I know that stopping smoking makes the deline of fev1 return to normal age related decline. However, does the inflammatory process that starts with this illness continue?

Waking up every morning with heart racing like crazy.. extremely worried
I have suffered from health anxiety/general anxiety for 8 years, but recently it's been VERY tough.. I've had premature ventricular contractions as long as I can remember, and this is what (I think) triggered my health anxiety at an early age, but recently I've been feeling all sorts of new/different

One beta blocker pill changed everything?
So if you've read any of my previous posts, you know that I've been a sufferer of PVCs since September. I was finally given beta blockers in Dec, and i took my first pill. It was pretty much instant relief which i didn't expect. And i went days without feeling pvcs, then i started feeling them again

PVC Ablation 1 month after
I’m a 36 year old who had an ablation for pvc’s a month ago. I’ve felt pretty good with only a few pvc’s daily (that I can feel) since the procedure. Today that was not the case. I’ve felt them all day and it’s a nightmare all over again. Somebody tell me this is normal and that they could still go away

Finally a Diagnosis
Hello everyone! I have been reading a lot of posts on this forum while I waited for my holter results. It all started 8 years ago when I was 25. I had just gotten out of the Army and was in the best shape of my life. One evening, my band was performing (drummer) when I felt my heart beating so fast,

SVT new diagnosis
Hello. I am 46 and very healthy. I have been having bad palpitations for 3 years. Always had them but they were never debilitating or caused me to have to adjust my lifestyle. Now they are intense. Following a halter monitor, they picked up a run of 8beats at 199bpm of SVT. And occasional PVC’s. I am

SVT episode or...?
Hi all, new here! I'm 33 years old and have a long history of PVCs and POTS as well as very random and rare SVT episodes, also a history of panic disorder. Tonight after a full stomach (bad trigger) I went downstairs to do laundry and came upstairs with a heavy finished load. I sat it on my bed, whilst

Emphasyma and terrified
Hi Guys, I’m American i assume that’s ok? :) I was just diagnosed with moderate emphasyma, no doubt from 30 years of a pack a day. I am 49 and have always been prone to anxiety, probably one of the reasons I smoked. Long story short, I’m terrified from the moment I wake until the moment i sleep. I’ve
